Despite some initial positives, the project was ultimately marred by poor communication, unprofessional conduct & serious breaches of trust. We strongly advise against using Bluelime due to the stress, financial impact, & unresolved issues we faced. While kitchen & bathroom installations were OK & progressed quickly, Bluelime deviated from approved plans in a conservation area, causing compliance issues (estimated correction costs of £15–£20k). Heating & insulation were poorly installed, & second opinions confirmed our dissatisfaction. Communication broke down, with responses defensive and intimidating. Costs rose unexpectedly (e.g. door fitting from £1200 to £2640) & inflated quotes in later stages. The property wasn’t ready for move-in multiple times, disrupting our young family. Additional concerns included missing tools, ignored warranties, inconsistent workmanship & misleading claims about affiliations. We urge others to check Bluelime (Alton Campbell) on Companies House.

Lucia was, from the outset, professional and always approachable and receptive to ideas: she combined her architectural experience with knowledge of local planning laws and she always knew where to find an answer. If she didn't know something she was honest enough to admit it. Her concept and detailed drawings for our extension project were beautifully executed and practicable. Through Lucia's diligence and hard work we managed to get planning approved for our scheme. We then hired Lucia to supervise a major renovation project: repairs to a leaking roof and the complete re-design of the rear garden of our house. Lucia displayed the same energy and eye for detail that she had for designing the extension to our house. Since we were living abroad for the duration of the renovation works, we depended entirely on Lucia to source individual tradespeople and materials and to supervise the project and ensure the works were completed on time and on budget. She completely succeeded and worked tirelessly on our behalf. I would unhesitatingly recommend Lucia for an architectural project that included extension drawings and gaining planning permissions or for more routine works as described above. She has that rare combination of laser-like efficiency combined with a lovely personality and an instinctive knowledge of what her clients want. Thank you Lucia and we look forward to working with you again very soon.

Eriken arrived on time, surveyed the garden, and then recommended a better solution to the one that I had in mind, namely using concrete fence posts to replace the old wood and metal ones, and he did so without putting any pressure on me at all. I thought it was a great idea as they would be much easier to maintain, and replacing future fence panels would be a matter of just sliding them in. We agreed on a fair price, and Eriken arrived promptly on the day with his colleagues, took down all of my old fence panels and fence posts, and fitted new concrete posts and new panels very professionally. He and his colleagues took away my old fence panels for disposal and cleared away any mess, and then he sent me pictures of the job as it was at one of my tenanted properties. I would definitely use Eriken again. Thank you, Eriken, for a professional job well done.

It was a tricky job, involving dampcoursing, replacing plasterwork, exterior rendering and pointing, replacing lino and wood flooring, rerouting plumbing, repairing chimney breast and fitting airbricks. Povilas was very professional, communicated well throughout, managed the whole thing, worked with the insurance surveyor, provided detailed invoices and brought in other trades when required.

Romulus and his dad were just great. They painted all walls, ceilings are doors in my 2 bed flat in 5.5 days! They worked really hard, the price was very reasonable, they did the job very very well. Couldn't recommend these guys enough!
