Waldemar and team were very tidy and communicative builders who will do the job at a high standard, for a good price and are committed to meeting their realistic deadlines. I had a difficult ask of the team as had ordered most components prior to their quote but they worked around me, the items I had ordered and worked well to achieve a complex and specific design. They were reliable and dedicated to getting the job done in good time and to a high standard. They were attentive and considerate regarding specific design requirements but I would recommend the best way to handle this with them is to provide a detailed plan with measurements as communication is harder when not face to face. That being said, if they were unsure of any detail they were extremely good at being in touch to clarify exactly what you'd like done. Highly recommended!

Incompetent and vacuous. Didn’t read the plans or sizes at the start, which meant many crappy adjustments were made throughout, ie sink on the wrong side, oven protruding out etc. Anything that seemed hard was an ‘extra’ cost. Damaged most items that were installed and then refused to change them as it was too much effort. Quality of workmanship was very low, and finishes were terrible, when requested to amend he flatly refused. He seemed very inexperienced and possibly had never fitted a kitchen or bathroom before. Once he had received 90% of the contract money he started refusing to do things and not turning up, eventually leaving the job unfinished. He totally ignored requests to finish the job and kept our keys!! He is supposed to be a qualified gas engineer - however managed to break our boiler and then refused to fix it as he didn’t know how. I mean it’s just lunacy! We have since had another quote to complete the work and fix all the damage he caused which is the same price as what we have already paid. The new builder noted the work used primitive methods and was substandard. I would not recommend Nikolay at all. Total nightmare to deal with and unbearably unprofessional. I can only assume the other positive reviews on here are from his friends!!

I recently hired Noel to address some issues in my bathroom shower area, and I couldn't be happier with the service. He arrived promptly, and handled the entire process with professionalism and efficiency. Noel quickly identified that I had rising damp, he expertly tanked the area, plastered and retiled. What impressed me most was his quick turnaround and fair pricing. Overall, I highly recommend him for any plastering or tiling work. Excellent quality and great value!

P&J electrical were super efficient and competitively priced. I had an electrical report done (EICR) which was very detailed. I was very satisfied with the work, communication was excellent and they turned up on time. They also fixed a problem with one of my lights and included this in the original pricing at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend.

Didn’t return to finish the job, respond to calls or messages in response to finishing the job. Sadly wouldn’t hire Ovi & Mihai (O&C) again. Friendly & responsive initially. Worked well, on time, eager to please, did a good job - not perfect but adequate, average attention to detail but corrected when asked. We initially had a faux chimney put in, they touted for more work & provided alcove shelving/cabinet ideas which we subsequently hired them for. They worked intermittently (dad around for first half of job then left for Romania) as this was agreed as best for both parties. However they left the job incomplete once paid (were paid on time, each time, with no bargaining). Didn’t respond to texts or calls, leaving cabinet doors unfinished, large chips & cracks unfilled. Laminate was also poorly cut around hearth stone, left chimney cutout unfinished with no cement to the base. Lack of respect and wouldn’t hire again as cannot trust they won’t disappear. Note previous reviews.

Steve provided a very good solution to adding double glazing to our existing bay, which had not been suggested by other fitters, and which allowed us to keep the wooden window frame. The window was custom made to size. He was also quick to get back to any queries I had. This was done for a very good price. Happy to recommend.

I am so pleased with my new fence. Tradesman was professional, on time, respected my home by laying down dust sheets to walk through and completed a great job plus cleaned up nicely afterwards. I would definitely recommend Profka Construction.
