I started working on building sites before leaving school with my father brother and grandfather. Building houses on our own private estates. At 16 straight into an apprenticeship with a stonemason , then carried on to learn carpentry, brick and block work , plastering and painting and decorating . We also cover kitchen and bathroom fitting , plumbing and tiling . I went self employed at 21 and have never been out of work.
