I have worked at Royal Birkdale Golf Course as a fully qualified Green Keeper for 18 and a half years. In this profession I have gained knowledge, and skills in turf management, and all aspects of ground care. Whilst in this job I have retained my PA1, and PA6 spraying certificates, these include knapsack and tractor mounted spraying. Over the past 2 years I have been working for Greenkeeper Grounds Solutions, where I have been able to widen my experience and variety of skills completing work all over the North West, which have included working on new build home sites installing land drains, constructing fences, levelling soil to lay turf, and paving/flagging. My specialist skills are turf management, such as laying turf, and taking care of lawns. Other key skills are hedge cutting, fencing, and paving.
