I'm fairly new to the industry, so I'm not yet jaded. I still find my work interesting! I have experience in: Changing light fittings, Adding new fittings to new positions and running wires to the new position, Adding external lights and security lights, Pendant lights and downlighters, Moving switches, Adding switches to control lights from another point, Creating two and three way switching of existing lights, Replacing on-the-wall sockets/switches to flush fittings with the box inside the wall - both brick walls and plasterboard walls, Upgrading single sockets to double sockets, Moving and adding sockets, Adding outside sockets, Replacing extractor fans, Connecting cookers, ovens, hobs, and hoods, And probably a few other things that I've forgotten! My qualifications include a diploma in electrical installations, along with the calculations required to ensure the installation is electrically safe, using the correct size wires for the size and load of the circuit. I also have a level 2 Inspection and Testing certification, to ensure your electrics have been installed correctly, are safe, and remain within regs.
