  I wouldn't recommend Marjan. Although he was a friendly guy there were several things I didn't like. 1) He was not punctual - I later found out that he took on another job. 2) He did not workaround my requirements e.g. he would start the self levelling when the kids would come from school. This meant one afternoon my kids had to spend 3 hours in the garden whilst the self levelling dried. 3) He was not adaptable - he seemed reluctant to do extra work I.e. doing the voltage check on the electric mat so you know it's ok before you lay it down with self levelling. It would have taken 2 minutes. 4) It felt as though he rushed the job and in places the finish is not great, simply because he did not wait for the self levelling or glue to dry. 5) The glue has dried over the LVT and he never cleaned this up. Positives: 1) He trimmed the doors and other wooden panels. 2) Initially he did come back to rectify the poor finish. But I'm noticing more areas now, which he has not fixed

  Alan completed a total bathroom refurb for me in October 21 which included new bath/shower, toilet, sink-vanity unit, plastering, lighting and tiling. The process was professional from initial survey-quote right through to completion of job and I now have an amazing bathroom finished to very high standard. I had a very good and positive customer experience with Alan and I would happily recommend his services to anyone.

  Pavel is a very kind and patient person/man. Firstly he arrived on time. Locating my flat isn't usually easy but he was calm as I directed him up.   Stay clear of this person as he is not experienced builder and do not fulfill his commitments after taking money. Don't hire this tradesman unless you want someone not to turn up on agreed date and time or you want to chase him again and again without him picking up your phone calls or answering them.. My garden shed was leaking from the side. Amarjeet recommended to put new flashing on the garden shed roof to fix it. However, after putting flashing, the garden shed continued to leak from the same area he had put the flashing. He said this time the cause of leak were the joints which he failed to look into earlier. So, he fixed that. After second fix, the shed again leaked, this time directly under the flashing he had put. When I asked him to fix it, he refused saying that the issue is with the joints and not the flashing. I told him that I had hired him to fix the water leak and not the flashing or joints. I even said that I will pay him if the issue is different. After ringing him several times and then agreeing a date and time with him, he didn't turn up. He is not a professional or experienced builder. Having now spoken to another builder, they suggested that the issue is that the water is somehow going under the flashing he had put. There is a bigger problem of the water standing on the roof which needs to be fixed first and which this builder failed to notice. Unfortunately, I will have to pay another builder to complete his work!
