I was unsure at first as they had no reviews, when they came to give me a quote I could see they were knowledgeable, they knew what they were talking about, now the job is finished, I am so happy I hired them, they done a perfect job, these two guy are hard working and interested in their work, they always smile and are very very pleasant. they have the right tools for the job, even able to cut my marble tiles straight, as my tiling area was very big, they used lasers to make sure they started at the right point, and my floor level were right. and there line on the tiles are great, they left my floor shinning, I will use them again, two very nice guys, they worked from 8am to 6 pm and later one evening, they did not leave the job till it was finished.

I recently worked with Ardit from AK Constructions and Developments on a double dormer loft conversion, which included creating two large bedrooms, a bathroom, and a utility room. I'm delighted with the results; the quality exceeded my expectations, and everyone who's visited has been impressed. Ardit's approach was professional and not pushy, unlike other builders. He provided references and even invited me to see a current project, which convinced me. Ardit was flexible, suggesting changes like moving the bathroom for better functionality, which turned out great. His team, including Edi and Vini, were polite, courteous, and always willing to help. The work finished ahead of schedule, and Ardit sourced excellent tradespeople, making the experience stress-free. I was so impressed that I also asked him to redo my kitchen, and I'm thrilled with the outcome. I highly recommend AK Constructions and Development.

John came to help with various handyman tasks. He wall mounted a 50 inch television, fitted window film to obscure bathroom windows, fitted a wall mounted safe, put up pictures, fitted a headboard and helped with a few other things. He was punctual, got started working immediately, was very quick to ask me questions so that no time was wasted. He tidied up well and was generally cheerful helpful and a pleasure to have around the place. He also kept in touch and checked that I was happy with the work he had done and was available by text for advice when I had questions. I would be very happy to recommend him.

Khin and Senh did an amazing job redoing all the skirting in our home. Their quote was competitive and their workmanship outstanding. They helped us source the materials to our specification for a great price, handling all the delivery details and were happy to pick up any bits and bobs to get the job done. Each day they arrived on time and often worked late to accommodate the fact we had carpets coming in the following week. After each day tools and materials were squared away and they would send updates on progress. The final product was top quality and has nicely finished off our home as part of a large book of renovations. Finally any snags that I did notice they were happy to come back and address, I couldn’t have wished for any more from these guys. All the best !

Bathroom Fitting- 25 Jul 2026
Overall quality of workmanship was high however project management and delivery were poor. The project ran late meaning work was only partially completed when we moved in (a week after the agreed completion) and the property was filthy. Move in date therefore became chaos with materials everywhere and every surface requiring cleaning whilst movers delivered furniture and boxes. There was zero respect for our time and privacy and no sense of urgency to complete the job, with workers who spoke no English coming and going and no idea of when jobs would be completed. A week later we fired Primecraft with several items incomplete and no snagging finished. It was ultimately less stressful to do it ourselves rather than argue with ongoing delays.

Not only was Ian's quote to do the loft conversion very reasonable, he was very reliable, tidy & very helpful when we had a difficult situation. The work was done in a quick time, when he said he was going to be on site he was, at no time did he let me down. As per the previous reviewer I don't usually hire tradesmen when there is only limited feedback, but given the glowing report I took the risk. And it proved to be a great decision. Astrit was great - clear communication, arrived when he said he would, sought our opinions on the key decisions and gave some great advice, before ultimately doing a great job for a reasonable price.
