We hired Dale to help us realise our dreams of redesigning our home and adding a bold, 1.5-storey extension to take advantage of our sloping site. We like bold, quirky design (a climbing wall in the lounge? a slide as well as stairs?!), and Dale understood our brief right from the start and was able to convert our ideas into reality. Initial communication was rapid and clear, and Dale’s quotation for the scheme was transparent, breaking down each of the stages. On appointment, Dale visited our property (within a week or so) to take measurements and produce drawings of the existing property. Next followed a series of design ideas that brought our ideas to life – he listened carefully to our brief and added value at every stage of the process. Dale managed the planning application process and the scheme gained approval without issue. Dale then produced full building regulations drawings (technical design) as part of the brief. Towards the end of the process, Dale really went above and beyond to obtain quotations for specific elements of the build (windows / doors / steel work) and obtain samples of wood cladding / roof tiles / and beautiful aluminium rainwater goods! Dale’s communication was rapid and clear throughout the process, and he updated us regularly on the progress of each stage. We are delighted with the quality of the service provided by Dale and highly recommend him without hesitation.

Tom did a great job of our tiling, what a transformation of our bathroom. Tom turned up when he said he would was impeccably clean, covered our carpets in protective film no mess at all. So hard to find a good tradesman these days but luckily we dropped on a guy who actually takes protein his work.

Can't speak highly enough of Chris Lawrence. His work is top quality and genuinely second to none. We've hired other stonemasons in the past that we thought were good but Chris's work outshines them. Initial pleasant start to our £35k project. Two lads on site each day, with good progress made and both well mannered and communicative. External structure work was good, with a pitched roof added to the initial design plan, mid project. The blend of brickwork between new and old was well done. Plaster works has proven to be poor in places, with joins between old and new visible in parts throughout the extension. James (Jim), the boss, really needs to work on his customer service skills when things don't go to plan. People are parting with considerable money and, for examples sake, arguing that the use of old facia and guttering on a new roof is acceptable, is frankly laughable. Communication has proven non existent at times - especially since work on our neighbours roof (carried out by Audnam Builders to correct a leak most likely caused by themselves during our build) has caused a serious leak in our garage, damaging new plaster and forcing electric points out of use. We've upheld our side of the contract. I think a trip to the small claims court is on the cards.
