I would highly recommend Stephen Woolgar from SDW Electric for electrical work. He provided a very competitive quote and along with being very good at his trade, Stephen is a very polite, intelligent and accommodating Electrician. Stephen is not only able to forsee possible issues with an electrical proposal on paper and thus advise accordingly but is also able to solve unforeseen problems presented on site. This is especially important in my project which was the provision of electrical supply for a future kitchen on the first floor in a 130 year old traditional house. The project, in the end, was only electrical as far as SDW Electrical was concerned. From the first meeting Stephen was very engaging and showed he was able to understand and tease out my requirements for the project which wasn’t completely formulated as I am not an Electrician. As is often with such projects, needs change and develop on advice and discussion which Stephen was very accommodating with and understanding of. Living in a house surrounded by materials required for a large renovation project impacts on ones life which can be and often is stressful. Stephen, in understanding that, helped by being very respectful of our situation, thus reducing any possible further stress. Stephen was on programme with his work but was very accommodating with some delays due to other ongoing trades. Thank you for being so understanding of this Stephen. I look forward to working with you again.

Danny recently painted our lounge walls,ceiling and woodwork,inc door and skirting.He did a fantastic job and it is obvious he has been doing this at a very professional level for some time. He started the work at the time he said he would and left the workspace spotlessly clean when finished. It was a small job, and Lee quoted a good price (my experience is that for small jobs tradesmen tend to ask really high prices). He is very considerate, and did a really good job and fast. He also helped to fix another small issue that was not in the original task. I would totally recommend.

After a rogue builder left me with 18 (eighteen) structural issues. Lez and his crew came in transformed my failed extension into a masterpiece. All aspects of the job was done to the highest quality and utmost care and attention to detail was shown to building control needs. They cleaned up after every day and made sure the house was habitable, as I had to live there. Every aspect of the build, from the carpentry, plastering and tiling was first class and their recommend electrician and plumbers were from the same stock. Total professionals. My only regret is that I did not use this builder the first time. The prices were reasonable and even building control had good word to say about their work. Thanks Lez
