Tiling- 28 Sep 2026
Amir came twice to view the job and stated he was a "jack of all trades" not just a tiler so we hired him to renovate two bathrooms. However, the experience was a complete disaster. He agreed to be present for the tile delivery, but wasn't there. We rescheduled for Monday, but 30 minutes before arrival, he claimed an emergency. After the tiles arrived, he stopped answering calls. Two hours later, he messaged saying he miscalculated costs and demanded more than double the agreed price, a quote he had set without negotiation from my part. By this point, he had already ripped out our toilet and shower, leaving the bathrooms unusable and the tiles sitting on the kerb. He never returned to work. To make matters worse, when he needed to collect his tools, he claimed he was outside when no one was there, rescheduled, missed that appointment, and finally turned up days later. Unreliable and unrecommended.

Cannot thank Amit (and his team) enough for the work he did completely refurbishing my property from fitted kitchen to sash windows including rewiring the flat, new wooden flooring, plastering and painting. Amit was a pleasure to deal with and was just as keen as we were to ensure the job was done to perfection and that we were happy. Will definitely hire Amit again.

I hired Tim for a big job to replace a damaged bathroom floor due to a leak. The damaged expanded to outside the bathroom and was quite involved. Tim did an amazing job, not only did he sort out the problem but he found clever solutions which other builders did not think of. Tim is reliable, honest and always ready to help. Would use again 100%.

Kitchen Fitting- 6 Apr 2025
Hired Ali to remove wallpaper and to decorate two bedrooms next to some other tasks. It all started quite well with him making good progress in getting off the wallpaper, filling and making good the walls but then it deteriorated rapidity. Project management was chaotic, protection of surfaces spotty and the young guy he brought in to finish the decoration clearly lacked decorating skills and attention to detail. Walls were stripy, paint splashed on carpet, newly set sockets were painted over, Mastic applied around doors and skirting looks dirty and messy and and and….It was me instead of Ali that did the quality control but it was a hopeless task as Ali’s staff clearly lacked experience and knowledge. At the end I’ve just wanted to get them out and accepted a substandard finish. Ali is a nice guy and tries his best, but based on my experience, I could not make a recommendation

Joti and his team were fantastic. I can't believe how quickly the job was done and to a very high standard. In just 2 days our flat was transformed from holes in the walls and ceilings, rough walls etc to a beautifully smooth finish. Even the wonkiest of edges are now smooth and flat. Will definitely hire Joti again, would recommend to anyone.
