Bathroom Fitting- 10 May 2019
I don’t recommend from my personal experience. I am writing this feedback 1 year after so this is based on true experience. The project was dragged over a longer period of time than agreed. He suggested to buy all the materials and we have accepted expecting decent quality products will be used (we are not experts). After he has left, we had a leak under the bath tub, which we have fixed by another plumber (didn’t have the energy to call back and wanted a once for all reliable fix). Taps were difficult to use and we have realised after that they don’t have thermostatic valve (didn’t know this detail before). We can see many cracked grouts due to uneven floor, then we have started getting water leak from the shower (wet room) into the ceiling of the underneath kitchen. We have hired again another tradesman to re-do most of the bathroom. When tiles were removed, we can see very thin materials, very poor tiling tradesman quality (nothing wrong with B&Q tiles). Very disappointing that someone can deliver such poor quality work and hide it all with tiles on top. Such stress, waste of time and waste of a lot of money. By the way, very similar feedback to the one posted by harvey_230

Extensions- 3 Oct 2022
I gave him the opportunity as I was desperate to find someone fast, and didn’t have much success on here.Soon as he accepted,he was already asking for cash beforehand to get materials.I thought you know what, his company details are online, what can go wrong so I did.As his team started the job, they told me I needed to have 2 fences erected as they were badly damaged and deteriorating.I thought heck, why not, might aswell do it now so I gave him again, the opportunity to make some extra business with us.Again, was asked for some pre payment to get the materials, all in cash. All was finished within 2days of the weekend.Fence looked fine, but the roof just looked like a cowboy job.I didn’t complain,as it was done fast, with all the stress with opening a new business,it was one less headache out of the way. After 1 day of rain, the roof was already leaking, like absolutely everywhere.Called him, and he got someone to come by a few days after to fill in more silicone.(Very suspect job again).I thought fine, aslong he’s responding and trying to fix the situation.Fast forward few days later, bearing in mind the shop isn’t open and I’m not always there when it’s raining,it rained again and it was leaking in some areas again.Whatsapped him which is how we normally communicated, called him, read my messages but no reply. Now he has blocked me.Seriously, how he knows I’m opening a business soon this is how he wants to treat his customers. Simply give me back my money or fix the problem, simple!
