  Arek gave me the confidence that he will do a good job when he arrived on time early morning for a small job that needed to be finished. I gave him another bigger job where again due to time pressures from our side.. he had to come in late in the evening and do the work. He did it to good standards..

  I would highly recommend. I got 3 furnitures (vanity, cabinet, coffee table) made by him. He is professional- he knows what he is doing and the best part is that he is himself not satisfied till the furniture is perfectly done. I did not need to supervise or help. I will definitely call him in future for other furnitures.

  I hired Florin for a kitchen job at an agreed price, which I paid in full. The kitchen was left unfinished and unusable, with the oven and hob not connected and multiple snagging issues still outstanding. Reliability was extremely poor. There were times when he did not turn up for days without explanation, as well as occasions when agreed times changed without notice or he left shortly after arriving and only informed me afterwards. I was pressured to pay in full before the work was complete, and once paid, the job was effectively abandoned. I have had to arrange another contractor at additional cost to make the kitchen safe and usable. There are also workmanship issues shown in the photos, including a socket fitted without a proper back box, damaged tile, rough and uneven cuts, an unlevel worktop, visible damage to units/panels, and incomplete areas. I am fair, pay promptly, and would not leave this review lightly. He had no reviews and unfortunately I gave him a chance.

  Darren worked on our office room which included plasterboarding and plastering of walls and the ceiling. He displayed a lot care and attention to detail in the finish of the plastering. Making sure the ceiling was level and the walls had a glossy smooth finish. He turned up promptly every time and got to work immediately which was appreciated. He is clearly dedicated to high quality workmanship and would definitely ask him back in the future.

  Gary and Bryn have done a great job on our garage conversion and we are extremely pleased with the work they carried out. They ensured all structural work was completed to an excellent standard and they put in extra hours without complaint and free of charge where aspects of the job were more complex than anticipated. Each day they took care to tidy up after themselves. I received a number of quotes for this work and GB Refurbs’ was by far the most reasonable. All costs were transparent and fixed – there were no hidden extras as there can be with some builders. Aside from the quality of their work, Gary and Bryn are lovely guys and couldn’t do enough for me. While they were here they also carried out a couple of other odd jobs free of charge and without me even having to ask! I’m so impressed at the breadth of skills they have and will definitely use them for future jobs.
