I normally don’t like writing bad reviews as I know how it may affect a trade persons source of income. But in this instance it is necessary! The kitchen was done to good standard after a long hassle of going back and forward with him about the kitchen arrangements. It was designed and delivered by B & Q. And him being a builder he should have made his way around the problems which I think he could’ve approached in a better manner. The skirting was done to an awful and inexperienced level. He had screwed them in with many holes being left on the skirtings. Which destroyed the appearance of them. When asked if we would fill the holes and use decorators chalk/silicone for the gap at top of the skirting and the wall he replied with ‘that ain’t my job’ which I think is a awful attitude to work. Furthermore, we had paid him accordingly to the work he completed per day so it was fair and by the end of the week he would have been paid in full. But he insisted on being paid earlier than schedule and then threatened me on several occasions he will rip out or break the kitchen with a hammer. So I was forced to pay. He didn’t turn up a few days with the excuse he was too busy to come and complete the kitchen. But I was more concerned about him taking majority of the money and the work being heavily pending. I felt intimidated by him and his attitude to work needs fixing. So if you as a consumer wish to take him on as a builder be prepared!

This is the best experience I have ever had with any tradesman! Paco’s enthusiasm experience and attention to detail is absolutely amazing. He completed the job without fuss and up to a very high standard and even painted and fixing up other bits for us too! He even came back an extra day at no additional cost to add some finishing touches. Always friendly, polite, helped me move furniture and cleaned up too! Amazing experience after hiring so many bad tradesman in the past. Would defiantly recommend PDM Services and hire again. Top Guy
