We had a loft conversion and a 9x3m rear extension constructed. We also had underfloor heating, flooring, a new staircase and air con installed. We are happy with the result and would recommend this company. They have also respected warranty and fixed issues that have come up after construction and decorating work completed.

To be honest i will be in short of words to how efficient and professional he/his team was, i had a bad experience in the past with another person but he (S.S Decorators) changed my perception about what it means to be a professionalist. He started painting work at my house from the scratch, even worse from where the last painter had left messing up things and now my house looks as beautiful as any one could imagine a new shiny house would look like. He and his team did such a great job by not just painting the walls by also maintaining a very high level of cleanliness at every step. He did not give up a single spot to be brown till the end he made sure each and every corner was painted and shiny. His helpful advice and professionalism made me stress free even when i was at work and his team handled everything so well that i upfrontly recommended his to all my friends, relatives, colleagues etc. His service is not just value for money but value beyond your money that you pay him. I thank him and his team for the excellent job that they did and the hassle free contract we had. Good luck to him and his team and i would not just recommend him but highly recommend him and also will use him/his team in future. Thank you.

The brief we gave was to get change of use on the site and planning for as many units as possible. It was a very difficult site with 11 party wall issues, a dangerous structure fronting a public highway. The whole process was dealt with very professionally and successfully. We were taken through the planning procedures and felt confident and comfortable throughout the process. I am delighted with the final plans and the achievements made by Ackroyd and Assocs. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with them again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I hired Adrian to plaster my bedroom and living room, and I am very pleased with the result. He did an outstanding job, with a very high standard of workmanship and attention to detail. Positively, certain aspects of the finishing, particularly tiling, were carried out to a good standard. However, the overall experience was mixed due to significant issues. There were notable challenges during the project involving basic logistics and site management, leading to considerable inconvenience that seemed avoidable. Furthermore, the quality of workmanship was inconsistent; while some parts were good, other areas involving fittings and fixtures showed a lack of attention to detail in the finish, requiring later adjustments. Communication during the process could also be difficult, particularly regarding problem-solving and planning for materials. While we appreciated the parts done well, the project was let down by these inconsistencies and process issues, leading to some ongoing snagging and disappointment.

Gyorgy carried out painting and decorating work at my newly purchased 3 bedroom house. This included stripping off old wall papers which had been in place for over 30 years. He skimmed the walls and ceilings excellently. The whole house was also painted beautifully including then joinery. I had old wooden doors which I was intending to replace. However he sanded and painted these which now look immaculate. Gyorgy is very neat and tidy. He was always punctual. He carried out my requests and completed the work to a high standard. I will definitely recommend him for any painting and decorating work.
