I have always been very hands-on and skilled with practical work. Before transitioning into renovations, I spent 20 years in the creative industry, specializing in exhibitions and events. Over the past few months, my projects have included: Leveling joists for a first floor. Creating new doorways and filling in old walls. Demolishing a 1970s garage and removing the debris. Cutting up a concrete floor and disposing of it in a skip. Smoothing a wall using galvanized battens to address moisture issues in the underlying structure.
