Hard Flooring- 16 May 2018
i immediately felt at ease and comfortable with Vaclav when he came round to see job and make an assessment of what needed to be done. hence why i hired him immediately and didn't bother with getting quotes from anyone else. A very trustworthy, professional polite person. he did an excellent job of this flat...soo good i gave him 3 other areas to do. the finish was totally professional looking . he also did a whole load of repairs. Vaclav was very patient with me despite my numerous change of opinion on floor finishes !! i changed my mind almost everyday!.. yet he still had the patience to deal with me and my requests. He even showed me how to use some of the tools since i was very interested to learn. he took no shortcuts and used the very best products. the flat was cleaner after all the sanding than it was before!! (..utterly surprised about that). Vaclav was an utter delight to work with . he is responsible and respectful of your belongings too. he did his utmost and diligently double checked everything to ensure no damages to pipes or wires during the repairs. (which i was v stressed about) .i wouldn't hesistate at all to hire Vaclav again and again. His prices are comparable for the average on my builder.com...that's because of the competition on here. but tbh ...his workmanship is worth a lot more. i wouldn't quibble with his quotes or go for the cheapest guy in this area of work given the seriousness nature of it . THX U VACLAV. A V HAPPY CUSTOMER ! :-)

Waste Clearance- 11 Aug 2026
I contacted this company after they responded to my post and assured me that they would remove all of the items from my garden. We agreed on a price, and I provided photographs clearly showing all of the rubbish and items that needed to be removed. On the day, he arrived with someone who was not his usual driver. They spent approximately an hour removing some of the items, but then spent around 30 minutes discussing the job, complaining and requesting additional payment. I agreed to pay more (3 times more than agreed price) and he confirmed that he would return at a later date to collect the remaining items. Unfortunately, when he returned, he only removed one item and refused to take the rest unless i paid more money including the wooden sticks and other items that had been clearly visible in the photographs provided before we agreed on the job. I am extremely disappointed with the service and would not recommend this company.

Bathroom Fitting- 20 Oct 2024
Shaun is a great tradesman and person to have working in your home. He has just competed a full bathroom renovation and he’s done a spectacular job, it’s a really high quality finish and I love it. I have to say the reviews are spot on.. Shaun was happy to answer all of my (many) questions, and gave advice on how to achieve the finish I wanted in the most sensible way without compromising on style - the choice is of course always yours and he’ll always work to try and make what you want happen, but 9 times out of 10 I ended up following his suggestion on things. 10/10 would recommend!

Tiling- 9 Mar 2019
Alla did an excellent job in my bathrooms. He stripped out the existing cracked tiles back to the flooring and retiled. It was a great clean job. He also applied silicone around a bath. Really nice guy to work with. He did what he said he would and within the price. There were no extras. I would definitely hire him again.

Carpentry- 13 May 2017
At the start I found vasil friendly knowledgable and keen to get the job. He Quoted the whole job would take 4 days fand was the cheapest quote received but didn't finish on fourth day as expected. Stated he will be back on Wednesday but failed turn up and said later on he had To go work and would be over Saturday. Turned up Saturday with friend to complete the job. When he said he had finished I Went over the job and pointed out errors such as door hinges missing screws which he responded screws are rubbish instead of asking for new screws he was happy leaving a number of doors hanging with 1 screw on each hinge. Three of the six door stoppers were not pinned in level so the door either kicked out at the bottom of forward. Instead of just doing the adjustments he decided to argue saying I was looking for an excuse not To pay him. Refused leave my house until I paid him and was shouting so I called the police and he left prior to them arriving. Prior to starting He had never mentioned he wanted payment on daily rate until he finished first day work which I didn't like but agreed as his work was good. In summary His work is very good and I would prefer him to have completed the work and do adjustments but he attitude of someone making errors to avoid being paid is wrong. Made a little mess but cleaned up most of it. Would say use him if you can agree with payment terms and snagging on a daily basis.
