Ollie was refreshing to communicate with - he responded to enquiries within a few hours at the most and was happy to answer lots of questions. He managed to find us a better price on timber when he wasn’t happy with the original price. He works solidly all day, almost like a machine! He arrives when he says he will & he works a full day even in the sweltering heat we had this summer. And to top it all, Ollie is a warm & friendly individual who is a pleasure to have around the place. The 2 terraces that he decked in timber for us look great and he was completely unfazed by any trickier bits that needed a little problem solving. We can’t recommend Ollie enough & look forward to seeing him again this summer for some timber planters & roof terrace seating.

The whole experience with Toby was fantastic. He was professional when he arrived for the quote and the way he advised us on a solution. The reason why I selected T.Wood Carpentry wasn't just their presentation when we met, but they way he conducted himself prior. Booking an appointment along with text/email reminders, also the way the quote was sent to us. It wasn't just a standard email it will cost x,y,z. It was a business email response along with an attached professional looking quote detailing the work to be done - as well as the cost of options of splitting the job if we wanted to. The cost also included a breakdown of labour and material charges. On the day, Toby and his team arrived promptly at 8am and worked solidly until 3pm! You can't fault how hard Toby works! One thing that stood out to me was also good use of H&S when floorboards were being cut outside, so many times you see tradesman cutting corners! When the job was complete, they tidied up and hovered (even the stairs carpet which was being taken up that afternoon!) The workman ship was fantastic, honestly I will not hesitate in using Toby again for my carpentry needs. It was reassuring that Toby said, if there were any problems he would come back round - even though he said there shouldn't be any now! The invoice arrived promptly, and again this was professional. It was clearly broken down, along with clear proof of purchase for additional insulation! Thank you Toby for sorting the squeaky floorboards out!

Darren was fantastic, spent 4 days at the house and managed to take on the challenge of a house whose electrical system was in serious need of some modernisation. He was always happy to explain things to us and took extra time to make sure that we understood the work being done and what options we had. He paid special attention to our plans for the future and made sure that everything was done in a way that supported our future goals. I would 100% recommend Darren and hope he'll be back in the future to tackle the next phase of renovations!

Excellent! Came to our rescue when let down by team that started and abandoned job - took the money and ran! Cameron was so helpful and understanding and gave us the reassurance that we needed after being so badly let down. The communication has been responsive and informative. The young men worked quickly and worked hard at completing the roof work. They were very self sufficient and considerate. All debris cleared and site left tidy. Can highly recommend.
