We employed Bennetts Restoration after they came recommended from a friend, who couldn’t speak highly enough of their experience with them. They were really happy with their work and delighted with the results! We asked several builders to provide a quote for a major renovation and extension and James (the owner) came back promptly, with clear information and was friendly and transparent throughout this process (the same could not be said for other builders!) Throughout the job, James and his team were polite and respectful and kept our house as clean as tidy as possible, providing helpful advice and explanations along the way. The timescales were clearly communicated and any slight changes or issues addressed seamlessly. We were so impressed with Bennetts Restoration, that we have actually asked them to come back and do the work on our interior! Would 100% recommend – Builders of this calibre seem like a rarity these days!

Avoid. We paid Mr Mann £20,000 across nine instalments between June and September 2025 to stop persistent water ingress into our home. He carried out the work, but the roof still leaks—the exact problem we paid him to fix. When we reported it, he acknowledged in writing that the work was not right and said he would come back and fix it. He never did. Since October 2025, he has not answered a single phone call, WhatsApp message or email. That is now nine months of chasing a man who has simply gone silent. We have since sent him formal written notice giving him a final opportunity to return and carry out the repairs. He ignored that too. We are now proceeding with a County Court claim to recover our money. £20,000 paid, a roof that still leaks, and a tradesman who disappeared the moment the last payment cleared. I would strongly advise anyone considering him to look elsewhere.

Excellent Bathroom Fitting Service Really pleased with the work Chris carried out on our bathroom. He removed our old bath and sink and replaced them with a new L-shaped bath and vanity unit. Chris was professional, reliable and clearly took pride in his work. Everything was fitted to a very high standard, with great attention to detail, and he left everything clean and tidy afterwards. The finished bathroom looks fantastic and is exactly what we were hoping for. It’s clear that Chris knows his trade and takes the time to make sure everything is done properly. The guys from Draiton Plumbing did a marvellous job sorting out numerous problems with our heating and hot water system. With every issue they explained the problem, told us how they proposed to solve it and gave us a price for the work before carrying it out. They had to come out to us several times to complete the job, including weekends, but were always good natured and cheerful. Would definitely recommend.

I was referred to myBuilder.com by my brother-in-law and was apprehensive at first but I needed a someone to come in quickly and paint my entire downstairs. So I put the job out and got a few responses and invited 2 companies to quote for the job. This included 1 company with several reviews and a strong work history on myBuilder and was very professional. Plus I invited T.D.M Decorators to quote who had just joined myBuilder.com so only really had their facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/tdmdecorators) to refer to for previous work and reviews. After meeting both companies I decided to go with Tom at T.D.M Decorators and was not disappointed! He was flexible with his start date, offered a competitive price for the job, easily contactable, clearly very experience and professional. They gave me a time frame to finish, they were punctual, neat, friendly and hard workers. They finished job on time (even it meant working late), the downstairs looks great and most importantly my wife is delighted.
