I hired Karan Buttar for my loft conversion, kitchen extension, and refurbishment of the existing house. I selected Karan after he contacted me through “mybuilder.com” website. I shortlisted 6 builders. Of the 6 builders who priced my job, I found Karan to be the most knowledgeable and credible. His proposal for my project was fairly easy to understand and delivered on the same day he visited my house, which I found impressive! I knew my project was fairly big (total cost was over £100K) and I wanted someone I could trust. Whilst Karan was not the cheapest, he was not the most expensive. I was looking for good quality work at a reasonable price. Now that the project is complete, I can say Butter Construction delivered to my expectations. Karan’s team are honest and completely reliable. There are some language barrier issues with the work force, but generally it is possible to work around this without significant problems. We had frequent and regular meetings with Karan and he did manage this without too much difficulty. Some of his guys speak good English. I was able to change scope and negotiate openly and honestly with Karen about cost changes. If I was not happy with any aspect of the work, I informed Karen and changes were agreed without fuss. When his men got things wrong, Karen simply got them to change it without trying to provide any excuses. In summary, I would not hesitate in recommending Karan/ Buttar Construction for your project.

Andy performed track and trace test at my property and discovered the meter chamber was full. He spoke at length to Thames Water who was responsible for the escape of water and not due to a leak on my own private land. I was happy with his expertise and thoroughness. Recommend him highly.

I am really happy with the guys for being available at such short notice and being so tidy and careful with their work. They were on time, hardworking and very efficient. The plastering, skirting, painting and flooring has been completed to perfection and i appreciate them checking in with me if i was happy throughout the process. I initially only needed my bedroom done and was worried about advertising a bigger job but after such a positive experience i decided to tell them to do the rest of my house for a good price and i am very happy with the results. Good quality tradesmen and materials used on all parts of the project. Some of his ideas actually made the solutions work better. The job did take quite a bit longer than originally planned - due to the workmen moving on to other tasks - but I guess that happens with businesses this size. Impressed by Luca's honesty and saying it how it is.

The team was very reliable, I was kept up to date throughout the project. The team worked fast and importantly they where professional without attitude, they kept the block waste to minimal unlike some other brick layer who waste allot of cement and material. A team of 3 built my store walls with concrete blocks. 7m x 4m. Smooth reliable service.
