Shiraz is a very experienced Architect. I hired My Architect to work on loft and rear extensions. I had an idea of what I wanted but Shiraz helped me ground it into reality and we ended up coming up with a design that was better than what I had. He was also very responsive and helped me in the process of getting approval for 6-meter rear extension which had been refused before. Shirav is very rounded in architectural work, structural calculation, and the flow of planning and building control. Shiraz was extremely helpful and professional in the early stages, determining the right direction to take my project. Further to this, the design process with Shiraz was an absolute pleasure. Everything is made clear, easy, and stress-free. The Designs were beautiful and any questions or advice I needed were answered quickly and empathetically. I can highly recommend Shiraz for Architect work as he has a broad domain knowledge of the work.

I hired Vasile and his team to initially refit my bathroom but after meeting him decided to hire him to complete a number of projects including installing a built in bookcase into a wall, decorating 2 bedrooms, hallway and removing built in wardrobes. I can not recommend Vasile and his team enough! Vasile is trustworthy, honest and worked within my budget. He offers incredible design advice and the workmanship is of such a high quality. They were always clean, punchual and completed the jobs on time and under budget! This is the first time I have used Mybuilder and did so because I got tired of getting messed around by contractors. I decided to use Vasile after I read the reviews here and I am really happy with the work. Vasile will be refitting my downstairs WC and kitchen later this year. I would highly recommend his services and professionalism.

I appointed Uptop downunder to complete some damp repair to a bay window that involved plaster removal and replacement after a damp course had been added. I found David and Greg who did the work very helpful. I need to be Honest to warn others. I’m very disappointed with result and I would remove it all and start again but I don’t have time. it’s certainly not a tiling job to admire. His quote was not the cheapest nor quickest, but I didn’t want speed, I wanted quality. It was a bad mistake. Ali is an amateur and does not know the trade. Many cuts are not accurate, tiles are set to different depths accentuated by wall lighting and one wall is random tile pattern. See pics. Terrible to look at.

Demolition- 11 Oct 2024
A large obsolete brick-post needed to be removed and replaced by a concrete-post and a narrow fence. Kensington Constructors Ltd was invited to do the job due to their experience in demolition and building. For the full day the Kensington team dismantled the pack of bricks with great care for the passing people in the alleyway and the pedestrians of the main road. The bricks went swiftly to the recycling and by efficient planning the concrete post and the fence where immediately available on site to be set. This ended with a superbly set fencing the corner of the property exactly meeting the requirements. Small or larger jobs that need to be done on time, on cost, as planned, Kensington Constructors is the first choice.

I have had a really, really bad experience with Kas. I used him on a first job and he was good and helpful. The second recent job has turned into a complete nightmare with him taking 50% for the job/price of glazing and then simply not coming to fit the glazing for a period of almost 3 weeks. He told me in a Whats App message on June 20th it would take 2 to 3 days to obtain toughened glass. We are now at July 10th. Telling me that his van broke down and now not even responding to my messages to try to get the job done. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU use him. I am now going to have to pay someone else to do this job. Not what I wanted at all.

I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

While the person was pleasant to work with and reasonably priced, the quality of work was disappointing. He repeatedly asked for additional money to complete the job he was originally hired to do. Unfortunately, after I mistakenly paid him before the work was fully completed, he never returned to finish it, citing excuses like issues with his van or needing to take his kids to school. If you're looking for reliable and high-quality work, I would recommend seeking someone else. L.B.C is not a business you can depend on to deliver a satisfactory result. I still have additional work to do in my garden, but I will be hiring someone else.

They were very responsive in messages and quick to come back with a quote. Paul came and hung the wallpaper and did an absolutely brilliant job.
