Outrageous and unethical behaviour. Had hired Alex to do some work on my bay window. The day he was meant to come, he never arrived and hours later I got a text to say he had a family emergency and was sorry he hadn't been in touch. I was very understanding and said I hoped everything was okay, and we can reschedule. We arranged for a week later. I texted him the Saturday before to make sure we were still on - to which Alex replied ".. Deffo! still def on for Monday." Monday came and when he was supposed to arrive I got a text to say he wouldn't be coming because the materials hadn't arrived (this is 15 minutes before HE was supposed to arrive). I asked him straight out if he actually wanted the job - and that it was totally fine if he was too busy or changed his mind, but that I've got an awful lot on my plate and just need to get someone in. He replied that he "100% still wanted to do it!".. so we rearranged again. I texted him the eve before to make sure we were still on. He replied "Yeah 100% still on, materials all loaded up. See you tomorrow!". No show again. This time no message. Phone off. Totally ghosted. I've been so reasonable the whole way through, and I've been put in an awful position now. Such a horrible way to treat people. There so many roofers on MyBuilder. Don't make the mistake of going with someone with only 2 reviews who might treat you the same. It's not okay. Steve provided an excellent and good value service, working with us to ensure the foundations were completed to Building Control requirements, including providing cost effective solutions to deal with unexpected existing foundations and excavation adjacent to party wall. Work completed to our satisfaction and in time. We are now arranging to work with Steve on the next phase of the job. Very engaging, and has the resources and tools to complete foundations, underpinning, site clearances, slabs, etc. Will definitely hire him again on future projects.

Managed to have done issues with the valves and air in the system. As soon as that occurred he wanted to get out asap. Shame, as I think spending some time knowing the system (i now have found someone else) would have been fine.

Florin and team were polite and considerate to have around. They listened to what customer wanted and tried to meet our expectations. We were pleased with result when just finished. However, the durability and quality of the finished job has not been a great experience. The first few weeks in we had some paving moved. A few months in we had a dip in our drive as foundation was not built for weight of the car, they tried to patch it up but didn’t repair the foundation sufficiently and it happened again and am currently in need of having to pay someone else for the drive to be redone.
