Both carpenters did an excellent job. They are young, energetic, skilled, very efficient and dynamic - their attitude is to please the customer regardless, no ifs and buts but they got on with the job and brought the right tools

We had our kitchen removed and fitted by Altin and his apprentice in January, and we are so happy with the final outcome. Altin was so reliable and precise on all of his work and was always able to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend hiring Altin and I will certainly be letting neighbours know about AK Carpentry! Thanks you for doing such an incredible job!

Initially I was very happy with Christians work I had asked him to do . I then asked him to do some other jobs for me and I paid him for doing them . One of them was to change a damaged sink in my bathroom . Everything appeared to be fine so I paid him in full . He told me not to use the sink for 24 hours to make sure that sealant was completely dry . When I used the sink the following day, water was literally pouring out from underneath the sink into the drawers of vanity unit. I called him and told him what had happened and he said he would come and fix it . He didn’t turn up when he said he would so I called again and he promised me he would come and fix it . Again he didn’t turn up and again no explanation or apology ! I tried messaging and calling many times over the next 7 days but he has never replied or returned any of my messages . I have waited over a month before writing this feedback on here , giving him chance to fix the problem but I have not heard a word from him ! He was paid the money he asked me for but has not completed the work he was paid to do . In my opinion he is no better than a common thief and I would never recommend him to anyone as he is obviously not an honest person .

Once shortlisted, he called promptly and arranged a time for his brother to visit, who arrived bang on time. He was friendly, honest and fixed the problem straight away with no extra charges. If you are looking for a builder to refurbish your bathroom, look no further, Natanael is your guy. He has done a phenomenal job with our bathrooms and I would recommend him 200%. Our bathrooms were completely gutted, made strong from the inside, plumbing and electricals sorted, tiles laid out, and the bathroom suite fitted. We were very impressed with the high quality craftsmanship. Everything done just so. There is not a detail that is overlooked. What we appreciated most was that he does not take any shortcuts. He ensured that everything was done properly and not rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about doing a great job and delivering a bathroom that you are happy with. It’s also a bonus that he was very neat, he took away all debris and rubbish at the end of each day. I’m very happy to be contacted and/or showcase our bathrooms for reference.

Job: reinstall 1 blinds, and install 1 door handle, £100. Great if you’re looking to install venetian blinds onto a brick wall. Hoovered the dust directly whilst drilling which was appreciated! However, they did not have the tools needed to install the door handle/mortice lock, which was discussed before the appointment so I can only assume you were unprepared. They did not fulfil this task. I thought you were being polite by putting the old door handle back on as you failed to install the new one. I could have done that easily myself, for free, I only removed it to prepare for the job. Was not expecting to pay the £100 quoted just to put the old handle back on instead of a mortice lock handle. I’ve booked a locksmith and will have to pay more to complete a job I have essentially paid for already... In future, if you have not completed a task I would not charge the customer the full amount quoted, respectfully. You were polite despite this and clean, and as for the blinds the job done was satisfactory, well done! I also appreciate that you took a trip to screw fix to find a handle easier to install, even though you came back empty handed. A for effort. I’m not greatly concerned over the money, but thought it overall was unfair and a waste of time. I only paid as I felt sympathetic 2 tradesmen spent 3 hours installing 1 set of blinds, taking an unsuccessful trip to screw fix and fiddling around with a door handle. Thank you for installing the blinds though!
