  I entirely renovated my flat except the bedroom, the estimation from Alex builders seemed to me the most comprehensive and honest, therefore I chose them. I couldn't be happier as they delivered a superb job. The tiles were fitted with a super precision in both the bathroom and the living room where they had to match the pattern. I changed the structure of the flat, by removing a divider wall and now I am much happier because I gained much more space. Alex builders have always been avalaible whenever I needed to fix anything, even when the job was completed. I strongly recommend these guys, you won't be disappointed!

  my experience of working with these guys was very positive. i eventually got a new kitchen fitted by them rather than an extension as the extension was above my budget. Their pricing was competitive, although not the cheapest. i made a conscious decision to offer the project to sall construction because they were experienced, and they were detail orientated with my plan as well as the fact that their timeline matched my project timing. the kitchen fitting was done, in fact, slightly ahead of the two weeks that sunny had said it would take-which was very useful. we also went on a holiday and left the whole place to them, and everything worked out for us, so clearly very trustworthy. sunny and his brother were excellent tradesmen and came back twice later on once we notified them of some small issues. its now been 1 year since the installation of the kitchen, and fingers crossed, everything looks and works great. everyone is impressed with our kitchen which is also indicative of their very good work. I will happily hire them again if i have to do some work on extension or refurbishing.

  I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

  With all due respect to this gentleman, he had no idea of what he was supposed to do. I hired him for a simple job of 3 sockets in same circuit not working but unfortunately he spent 2-3 hours on checking like ventilation switch and other instruments which were working not sure why he was checking working instruments to find fault in sockets which were in different circuits. After 2-3 hours he left my house without informing me also leaving damage I. Ventilation socket and leaving it open in a dangerous condition which I have taken a picture. He sent me an email explaining that the fault is in those sockets which are in good orders also two screws were shorter which does not make any sense. When I checked another professional electrician he said he has broken ventilation socket that is why the metal screws are shorter as he has broken the switch. The professional electrician who completed the whole work in 5-10 minutes was questioning this gentleman work why he was checking ventilation

  At the start I found vasil friendly knowledgable and keen to get the job. He Quoted the whole job would take 4 days fand was the cheapest quote received but didn't finish on fourth day as expected. Stated he will be back on Wednesday but failed turn up and said later on he had To go work and would be over Saturday. Turned up Saturday with friend to complete the job. When he said he had finished I Went over the job and pointed out errors such as door hinges missing screws which he responded screws are rubbish instead of asking for new screws he was happy leaving a number of doors hanging with 1 screw on each hinge. Three of the six door stoppers were not pinned in level so the door either kicked out at the bottom of forward. Instead of just doing the adjustments he decided to argue saying I was looking for an excuse not To pay him. Refused leave my house until I paid him and was shouting so I called the police and he left prior to them arriving. Prior to starting He had never mentioned he wanted payment on daily rate until he finished first day work which I didn't like but agreed as his work was good. In summary His work is very good and I would prefer him to have completed the work and do adjustments but he attitude of someone making errors to avoid being paid is wrong. Made a little mess but cleaned up most of it. Would say use him if you can agree with payment terms and snagging on a daily basis.
