Qualified as an Electrician in 2011 and Electrical Engineer in 2014, I have been working in the Fire, Security and Electrical sector since. Happy to provide details of all certifications on request. Stanley Fire and Security is a new business for 2025 and will be providing all Fire and Security work as well as minor electrical works. My experience is mostly commercial however now that I am taking on my own clients I will be working domestically as well. I’m an veteran, did 9 years with the REME mostly in the parachute regiment and left the army 4 years ago and started a job laying stone steps with company (Portland stone steps) I have taught myself lettering (the basics) and made copings and supports so had a taster of banker masonry! I have been working in the Security installation trade for over 10 years now, I started as an apprentice where I attended college one day a week while working for a local security installation and locksmith company. Over these 5 years I became proficient in several different security installation disciplines. Ranging from domestic and small commercial CCTV/Intruder alarm installations, access control, gates, barriers, automatic garage doors and before I left in 2020 we were branching into integrated alarm and cctv installations. In 2020 i started working for a national facilities management company. This job was a based in a high secure hospital with an integrated security system. This includes, enterprise CCTV (analog and ip) intruder alarm, access control, automatic doors, laser detection, SCADA, fibre optic transmission and advanced video analytics. The job is to maintain, repair and upgrade the system, this is my current role and have been working there for the last 5.5 years. I have worked with all sorts of security installation equipment and can apply my knowledge to most situations. I pride myself on my work ethic and always strive to do the best with any job/ problem I am faced with.
