Artex removed from the ceiling and then plastered. Removing the old artex was quite a messy job. When the job was completed the room was left very clean. overall, very pleased with the work carried out.

Jay provided a prompt, reasonable quote. He and colleagues arrived exactly on time and worked outside all day. He supplied and fitted a new garden gate which I am very pleased with and also supplied and fitted decorative fencing panels in garden wall. This was a non-standard fitting which took perhaps longer than Jay had anticipated but he completed the work the same day to a high standard. I would definitely use Jay again, He is a very polite, hard working young man who was a very tidy worker who cleared the site and removed all the old timber.

Conversions - General- 4 Feb 2019
Pat Norman is not what he says he is. Blocked in a Back Door & Window, installed a smaller window in the same place. Installed the door & window at the back of our garage. All fine. However, he then started on the conversion of my kitchen. My god what a mess. He took ages to sort out the plumbing for Loo, Sink & Shower. The tiling was so bad, he damaged a new shower door beyond repair, i was lost for words. The job he said would be done in 2-3 weeks, after 6.5weeks i had had enough of him. He even asked me if i was happy with what he had done! Well what could i say. I told him that he had two options, complete the job to a very high standard, knowing that he could not do this, or pay me back 50% of the money i had already paid him. Neither of these options he has done. He charged me 150 pounds per day. I have one of these door bells which pick up every motion from my front door. He was in and out of my house every 10 mins the whole time he was working, or not working, which is more the case. I sent him a invoice giving him time to repay me, then statements and telling him what i intended to do. i receive nothing. This man is not a professional person. He is as stated in a text message a 66 year old , occasional plumber. Very different to what he says he is. PLEASE DO NOT GO AND EMPLOYEE THIS PERSON FOR ANY WORK YOU MAY HAVE. HE WILL RIP YOU OFF AND LEAVE YOU WITH A DISASTER ON YOUR HANDS. I now have had to find others to complete the work for me and at additional expense.

Morgan did the job while I was away during the Bank Holiday. Before the job, he explained what he will do and let me choose the paint color. When I came back from the holiday, the job was done. His work was excellent, better than I expected. Also, he cleaned up all rubbish so I did not need to do much cleaning. Highly recommended and would like to employ him again for another painting job when I have adequate fund next year.

Nelson reached out to us after seeing our job here on Mybuilder. He was able to come over to quote and was able to actually get the job started and competed at very short notice, which was much appreciated. Him and his colleague (I think his name was Jay) were very polite and considerate, cleaning up after themselves and also didn’t subject our neighbours to loud music. Work was completed to a high standard, and both gentlemen took their time giving us advice upon completion of the job. Will definitely not hesitate to use N&A Builders on future projects at our home!

Great communication, quality job and great timing, highly recommend! Got a quate within a few days after contacting. Agreed wall removal was performed to the high standard, passing building control regulation requirements. The job was done quickly and the site left tidy.
