I believed Richards previous clients and was excited to instruct him. However Sadly he has messed me around for 5 months. We agreed a price / work and he said he would start in May. However he took on another job and pushed my garden to mid June. On 7th June he sent an email with invoice stating he would start on 19th June and I needed to pay 2/3rd of the agreed sum on that day £4,226. Sadly my bank refused to send such a sum and phoned me the next day. I asked Richard if I could pay for materials now and the surplus on 19th when he started - this was not acceptable. I spoke with the bank and sent the complete funds the following day. However, unbeknown to me he had already sent an email stating he could not work without trust. As I’d paid the full funds I hoped he would change his mind - he did not. He returned the funds two days later. I don’t often get upset but having trusted him and waited 5 months I am truly gutted. In the mean time - having ordered the greenhouse and bought plants ready for my new garden - I’m hoping the greenhouse doesn’t get broken and I’ll struggle to keep the plants alive whilst I search again for another gardener - and trust/hope they actually turn up.

Charlie and his team have done a terrific job for us. They rebuilt our front doorstep as well as adding new steps where needed. They worked hard, were really polite and friendly and more than willing when asked to do a bit extra. Totally pleased with the final work and would highly recommend them to others. Craig supplied a competitive labour only price and was very quick to respond to questions. He managed to get 7 doors hung in a day, and agreed to return for some cosmetic finishing to the cut edge of some doors. He was professional and efficient and I would use him again.
