Having been ripped off by our previous builder we were cautious at finding another. But we found Ben, if only I'd found him earlier here are his qualities - 😊 Professional - Good time keeping,he arrived at agreed time, his quote arrived on time on proper headed paper, his tools were clean he worked cleanly and tided up at end of each day, Ben was so thorough and took pride in his work. 😄 Very agreeable price 😊 Attitude - Ben was approachable,friendly and very patient, very polite - you actually get good morning, please and thanks - very unusual these days!! DPS were superb from start to finish. They were hired to build a single storey rear extension in North London including a new kitchen and bathroom fit. I met Ralph on site along with a number of other builders, Ralph was highly knowledgeable and clearly explained what was required with practical solutions. DPS clearly scoped out the timeline and cost for each stage of the build and kept to this. They completed several agreed extras throughout the job. Communication with Ralph and the whole DPS team was first class throughout. I own a number of rental properties and can comfortably say DPS are the best builders I've dealt with, I cannot recommend them highly enough, they will be my first port of call for future work.

My previous bathroom fitters did a very bad job with the bathroom and cloakroom toilet and left it unfinished. I am so glad I went with JM Building service as Joe and Martin completely transformed both rooms. They rectified the previous fitters errors and completed the rooms. Joe didn’t just rush through the job to get it done quickly—he took his time, ensuring every detail was finished to a high standard. He worked meticulously, making adjustments until everything looked exactly as it should, rather than settling for ‘good enough.’ His dedication to quality and precision was evident throughout, and the end result speaks for itself. As well as being very good at what they do, they are friendly, reliable, trustworthy and hardworking. I have already booked them in for another job and requested a quote for another. The builder came to build a single skim brick wall to the side entrance of my house -: around 120 bricks. He agreed to £300 for labour including inserting a door. Upon arrival, of which he came on foot, he had no tools, no bucket, no drill, no ladder. He had to borrow all of my husbands equipment and sent my husband out for extra materials on two occassions. The lintel he asked us to order was the wrong size, we ordered one that was far too big and wasted more money due to him measuring up the job wrong - again a waste of money. Then, we had to drive him to toolstation to buy a brick cutting tool because of this using our own time and fuel. You would assume a brick layer would have tools if they are doing jobs privately - his colleagues excuse was we are just starting up our private buisness. He then started asking for more money and stormed off leaving all the rubbish behind even though we gave him the £300 as agreed prior to the job. The wall itself is okay but again at one point he refused to build up to the top because of a metal screw apparently impossible to remove, so yet again my husband had to assist with the job and removed the screw. Honestly more hassle than it was worth. Also the door was not fitted so now will need to pay someone else to do the job. I do feel bad for them that do not have any equipment but when you pay money for a job you do expect a certain level of service. I wish them good luck in the future and hope they take this advise on board.
