Bathroom Fitting- 3 Nov 2026
We hired Myles Alexander Clayton Davies to renovate our bathroom. Quoted 12–14 days, it remained unfinished after a month. Problems included leaking shower pipework, excessive putty around the valve, incorrect valve installation, uneven tiling, cracked tiles and damaged tiles concealed with tape. Some tiles were fixed with silicone and came loose under light pressure. Trims and adhesive coverage were poor. He left dust throughout our home and cement on our driveway. We paid over £1,400 for materials with few receipts and identified overcharges. We are still awaiting reimbursement for a broken tile and overcharged materials. Independent inspections by a plumber and tiler raised serious concerns, with substantial work needing to be redone. Myles dismissed our concerns as ‘aesthetic issues’. We are preparing a small claims court claim. Based on our experience, do not use Myles at all. His workmanship falls significantly short of the professional standards he claims to havePhotos attached.

Hard Flooring- 21 Sep 2024
I wouldn't recommend Marjan. Although he was a friendly guy there were several things I didn't like. 1) He was not punctual - I later found out that he took on another job. 2) He did not workaround my requirements e.g. he would start the self levelling when the kids would come from school. This meant one afternoon my kids had to spend 3 hours in the garden whilst the self levelling dried. 3) He was not adaptable - he seemed reluctant to do extra work I.e. doing the voltage check on the electric mat so you know it's ok before you lay it down with self levelling. It would have taken 2 minutes. 4) It felt as though he rushed the job and in places the finish is not great, simply because he did not wait for the self levelling or glue to dry. 5) The glue has dried over the LVT and he never cleaned this up. Positives: 1) He trimmed the doors and other wooden panels. 2) Initially he did come back to rectify the poor finish. But I'm noticing more areas now, which he has not fixed

Joinery & Cabinet Making- 4 Jun 2026
Andrew built a media wall in our living room, including a faux chimney breast, floor-to-ceiling shelving and fitted cabinets. He also extended existing wall panelling in our converted garage where built-in units had previously been removed. The main carpentry work was good and the media wall was built as we had hoped. It feels solid, sturdy and well constructed. However, I was disappointed with the finishing work, particularly in the garage. Part of the agreement was to make the walls ready for decoration after the removal of units and electrical work, but the filling was rough, some filler came loose, and many areas had not been properly sanded. There were also noticeable gaps around the panelling and skirting, which remained untidy even after a return visit. The project was also not left particularly clean, with a significant amount of sawdust and debris remaining, especially in the garage. Overall, good construction work, but the finishing and details fell below expectations.

Bogdan and the team did a great job. He was very thorough and kept me updated throughout the process. You could see he was passionate about achieving a good end result which gave me re-assurance that the team knew what they were doing and could be left to just come in and get on with the work. Was mindful of the furniture in the room which I appreciated and placed everything back accordingly. Would recommend to others and hire again in the future.

Extensions- 8 Dec 2023
I recently had the pleasure of accepting Jagdeep on a substantial renovation project. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive as there were no existing reviews to gauge his work. However, after seeing some of his previous projects, I decided to take a leap of faith - and it turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. Jagdeep's approach to our project, which started merely as a rear extension and shower room, was nothing short of exceptional. His remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail soon convinced me and my wife to extend the scope to a full renovation. Throughout the process, Jagdeep and his team displayed an extraordinary level of skill, professionalism, hard work as well as trust (very rare these days). No task was too challenging, and his willingness to prioritise our needs and provide thoughtful advice was truly comforting. It's rare to find a builder with such dedication and expertise. Jagdeep is undoubtedly one of the best builders I have encountered. My heartfelt thanks to Jagdeep and his team for their outstanding work. Rest assured, for any future projects, he will be the first person I call. Thank you, Jagdeep, for turning our vision into reality, which more than exceeded our expectations!

Electrical- 29 Oct 2026
Two guys came to fit my ceiling lights, and they did an absolutely amazing job! Both were very polite, well mannered and professional. They even took their shoes off before coming in which I really appreciated. They fitted the ceiling lights and extended the wiring where needed. Communication was excellent throughout with quick and prompt responses. I’ve had ceiling lights fitted in the same room before and electricians have usually been in and out quite quickly however, it wasn’t until these two came along that I realised the previous work hadn’t been done to the same standard. They took the time to do the job properly and used the correct tools and equipment rather than simply using a stool like previous electricians had. The price was also very reasonable especially considering the quality of the work and the professionalism they showed from start to finish. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the experience. It’s refreshing to find a company that takes pride in its work.
