Good Communications so both parties kept in the loop, when there was a supplier blip (at DKA end) followed by a COVID Blip (at this end). Nonetheless when all parts ( Valves and Coolant) and DSK arrived work proceeded efficiently and neatly without any dramas. He had the necessary skills, knowledge, experice and specialist tools. Now have system fully sealed again holding pressure and with a fresh charge of solar coolant. He dropped in again next day to ensure system still maintaining and holding pressure. Looking forward to a summer of free domestic hot water (weather permitting), as we used to have.

Really appreciate the expertise Andrew brought to the job. My initial expectation was the need for a fresh oil based coat to the wood. However Andrew was able to show me, the oil coating was intact. We ended up with a wood stain to refresh and revigour the colour - what a difference! Great Job

While most of the people on here who expressed an interest didn't even bother to follow it up, this guy came to see the job, gave me a detailed quote (so had obviously paid close attention to what I wanted), came to do the work when he said he would, and did an excellent job with no corners cut. Happy to recommend and the next time I need some work done I won't even bother posting on here, I'll just phone this guy.

Absolutely delighted with the work Branislav completed for us. His standard of workmanship is top notch plus he is a happy friendly guy. His communication was great, he turned up when he said he would and completed all of the work for the quoted price, which i thought was very reasonable. He left a very tidy job too, cleaning up as he progressed. He offered great advice and tips on other improvement projects we are considering without any fuss. We will certainly be inviting him back to undertake future improvement works to our home. Hire with confindence.

Peter and his team are top quality. We had booked them in for a fascias, soffit and gutter replacement and they were very reasonably priced. However, when they started they realised how bad the roof condition was (completely expected as the roof was 60 years old) he gave me all options from repair, patch jobs etc or full replacement. No pushy selling, no scare tactics. All advice was given with pictures and video proof but he was quick to suggest that it is always completely up to us and he has no problem with just patching the issues if that's what WE wanted. We opted to replace the roof as it would need done very soon either way and Peter was able to get the job started the very next day. So he has come out on the Monday for 1 job, ended up starting a much bigger job for us on the tuesday and had the full roof replaced and finished by the Friday. I couldn't recommend them higher. Fantastic service. Quick to respond, friendly to deal with and kept the job super clean and tidy.

We needed a foundation for a shed. They came our promptly and because it started to rain, they said they would come back two days later, which they did. They were very prompt, professional and respectful. They left every very clean and tidy. The finish is excellent. I would recommend them

Barry Sweeney is a true professional who understands the need to use traditional methods in old buildings. He carried out a lot of pointing both inside the house and on our garden walls using a lime/sand mix. The use of cement on traditional sandstone buildings causes dampness and deterioration of the stone and unfortunately many people will just slap on cement, leading to severe problems long term. Barry will not do that. I am very pleased with Barry`s attitude and knowledge and will certainly use him again in the future.

Kenny from Topnotch/Magnum Builders carried out a full renovation for us, including a large kitchen, bathroom, shower room, W.C, new lighting, radiators, and a master bedroom refurb. From the start he was professional, friendly, and easy to work with, guiding us through design, budget, and options with patience and care. His joinery is outstanding – even the quartz worktop fitters praised the precision of his kitchen installation as one of the best they’d seen. When faced with challenges, like installing a 250kg roll-top bath, Kenny found creative solutions that improved our design. He worked tirelessly, often 6 days a week and into evenings, and we completely trusted him in our home (and with our Labrador!). While a minor delay arose with a subcontractor, Kenny resolved it quickly and kept communication open and honest. The quality of his work and his integrity stood out throughout. We will definitely use Kenny again and highly recommend him and Magnum Builders.

50% of my property has flat roofing. This was previously of felt. Following a discussion with and taking advice from George I opted to have the roof, including a garage, recovered a rubber sheeting. The work was completed quite quickly by George's small but hardworking and efficient team to my satisfaction. Thus far there has never been any problems with his work.
