From the outset we really liked John, his approach, professionalism and detailed quotation. He happily worked with us to deliver a complete transformation of our property. Very importantly, his team and himself work tirelessly, long hours and weekends as required to keep to agreed timescales for the project. John and his team did an excellent job renovating our flat. We really couldn’t be happier! John was always professional, friendly and great to work with. His team were equally pleasant and extremely hard working. John helped guide us through some decisions on finishing touches and gave us advice when dealing with another contractor. We love our bespoke built in wardrobes as these really finished off the bedrooms nicely. We would happily recommend J&M to family and friends and will keep them in mind for future work.

From start to finish Rob has been an absolute pleasure to deal with! We had our bathroom fully renovated and the work has been completed to an exceptionally high standard which we are extremely pleased about after having previous bad experiences with tradesmen. Rob takes his work seriously and doesn't cut corners, he always explained what he was doing along the way and confidently answered any questions we had. He managed to identify and fix a drainage issue along the way that we never mentioned as previous plumbers told us it was just "due to the type of house we had", now our bath and sink drain quickly without any issue! All work spaces were left clean and tidy at the end of each day, and above all safe as we had kids using the bathroom while the work was being carried out. I won't hesitate to recommend Rob to friends and family in the future and we'll definitely be coming to him for and further plumbing projects.

As someone new to this site for finding tradesmen, I have found the service given by Stewart has been really pleasant and positive. I needed a tradesman to install underfloor heating and lay tiles in my Dad’s bathroom. Stewart was very quick at coming back to me after I posted the job. After providing some background on measurements and the current state of the floor, Stewart provided me with a very fair, detailed and competitive quote. He considered all aspects of the job, including adjusting the height of the doors to allow for the tiles etc. Stewart also offered me two prices, as there were different ways of prepping the floor and he did not try to push one option over the other. We arranged a suitable date, and Stewart co-ordinated his electrician friend to come also once he had prepared the ground. Stewart had also offered to pick up all the materials as he receives trade discount. I had picked up most of the materials before posting the add, but Stewart had noticed I had the wrong tile adhesive (thanks to picture messaging), and he brought the correct adhesive when he came to lay the floor. I also appreciated Stewart sending me pictures of the tiling as I was not at my Dad’s when this was finished. He was very friendly and super tidy. My Dad and I could not be more pleased with Stewart’s work. All in all a very pleasant experience, excellent service and quality work. I could not have asked for more. Jenny (Edinburgh) and my Dad.

Garry and his son did an excellent job of servicing my gas boiler. Garry patiently explained instruction of my boiler and controls, he is a concietious tradesman who does not rush through his work unlike my previous boiler plan workers, he methodically works his way through the job in hand. Will absolutely use Garry and his company again.

David McIntyre of McIntyre Masonry Ltd Firstly I wish to thank David and his team for carrying out the masonry repairs to our cottage, the prerequisites involved to carry out this repair required McIntyre Masonry to interface with Network Rail, (as the cottage gable is on the railway boundary) providing them with the necessary documentation , risk assessment and method statements and comply with all of NR's safety requirements, the work was carried out overnight which required the rail track to be shut down and all overhead power cables to be isolated. Their professionalism and very high standards of work ethic are to be applauded , their team on site worked tirelessly through the night, given the brief time that NR was able to provide, they were a credit to David's company, I'm 100% satisfied with their work and would highly recommend them, the cost to carry out the works were as agreed. I will have no hesitation contacting McIntyre Masonry Ltd in the future, should I have any further requirements for masonry repairs.
