I hired Naveed to dismantle and move a large sliding wardrobe from one room to another. The job was clearly advertised, and he quoted £155. On the day, after removing one sliding door, he claimed the job was much bigger than expected and increased the price to £350, later reducing it to £320 during the work. After reassembly, the sliding drawer no longer rolled properly. Naveed insisted it wasn’t his fault, blamed dirt on the wheel, and quoted another £65 call-out charge to fix it, which I felt should have been covered as goodwill. More disappointing was the damage to my ceiling and stair banister during the move, reflecting poor care and workmanship. Overall, I wasn’t satisfied with the unexpected price increase, refusal to take responsibility for faults after dismantling, and the damage caused during the job.
