I am a self employed, quailified carpenter who has been in the building industry for 6 years since I was 16. I attended college and then completed an apprenticeship with an oak framing company that has been progressing for 25 years. I have travelled all over the country building oak frame houses, stables, garages, extensions and much more. I have been trading as a carpenter for over 25 years. I am largely self taught with the tutelage from some very good qualified tradesmen I have worked with over this time. Though I have worked in construction continuously I am now more focused on smaller restoration/repair jobs with a biased towards traditional methods.These include restoration and repair of windows and doors and other architectural elements of an old or listed building. If any joinery is required for this I am able to make this in my small workshop.
