In the past I have worked as a hotel manager for most of my career. Often I was called upon to fix issues that our regular maintenance guys found too tricky. I had to use common sense to fix minor plumbing, electrical and general maintenance problems. When appropriate I would call in qualified contractors. Since leaving the hotel industry I have been busy with general property maintenance and minor construction.
