Ashley responded incredibly quickly and fixed a persistent, slow-leaking radiator valve the very same day. He replaced the faulty valve and drain-off fitting, refilled the system with inhibitor, and carried out a full annual boiler service for an exceptionally fair, agreed price. He was polite, professional, clean, and completely straightforward to deal with. Excellent local service - I will definitely use AB Heating again for my annual service. Thanks, Ashley!

While the job itself was completed, the management of waste disposal was handled very poorly. The waste was placed into a neighbor’s bin without permission, causing significant issues. No instructions were given to handle the waste in this manner. When I contacted the individual, they initially agreed to remove it within a few days. However, despite multiple follow-ups via messages and calls, I received no response. This negligence resulted in an additional cost of £40 for proper garden waste removal and left me dealing with an understandably upset neighbor. To prospective customers: ensure you provide explicit instructions regarding waste disposal, as the after-service experience was disappointing and unprofessional. (Not 1 star as the job was completed to a some what satisfactory manner)

Very responsive and very punctual. Always responded to questions we had via text and turned up exactly when they said they would. Selecting what we wanted was very easy with links they sent and when we wanted to add something later they were very accommodating and sent us more links to what was available. Having the work done was easy as we went away on holiday for the week leaving them the house to themselves. They were very respectful of the property and protected the carpets. The work they carried out was exactly what we were looking for and love our new bathroom. This process was made really pleasant by the guys at Yates Property Services. This job didn’t go well. It went over time (2 weeks with two guys was promised - 1 guy, Kevin, came, and after 3 weeks, not even half was complete. The wallpaper wasn’t stripped properly, and was painted over. Woodwork and walls had thick streaks everywhere. Not enough coats of paint were used. Less than halfway through the job we decided to stop Kevin and cut our losses. Kevin admitted he’d done a bad job, and we paid half to be fair, though we ended up paying someone almost the entire quote to start much of it again, sand the streaks and paint (nobody wants to finish a bodged job). I leave this feedback 3 years later as it was a terrible experience, and now our experience redecorating (another property), where we have fantastic decorators, highlights how unfair it would be not to leave a realistic review.
