I am updating a previous review I left for this tradesperson. I had paid this person a large sum of money to fix the leak in our roof. I had taken all their advice and trusted their capability. Initially it seemed like the problem had been fixed. But the leak continued and I got a constant array of excuses as to why this was not working. My calls and text messages have been ignored when I have tried to get in touch with this tradesperson regarding this. They have not held up their end of a “12 year warranty”. Absolutely lost for words at how disappointed I am in the work and the follow up approach to not owning up or fixing their mistakes. Do not recommend.

Excellent service Matt contacted me asap and arranged to visit at a convenient time for both. He was on time, extremely helpful and sorted the heating and hot water in double quick time and kindly said I didn't need to pay!!!!. He explained things to me in a language that even me with my non electric know how could understand. The quote provided was sent immediately for the works to the kitchen lights. Matt returned the following Monday, prompt again and replaced the kitchen lights; again this was done without any disturbance and he cleaned up as he went about the work. I would have no hesitation in recommending Thomas Burke Electrical at any time; and look forward to appointing them when I need the next electrical work. Many thanks to T&B and MyBuilder Ltd

I had a few tiles replaced around my bath, a new bath screen fitted and the sealant redone. The initial quote was £150 and I was then told (after the tiles had been removed from my wall) that it would be £210, as an extra two tiles needed to be fitted. The new tiles are not level or spaced evenly, the sealant was not smoothed out and came loose and the shower screen was not fitted properly. My main focus was just to have a watertight shower, so I accepted that I could re-do the sealant myself and that I could live with the uneven tiles, but I asked him to return to fit the last part of the shower door to the wall, as I am not comfortable drilling in to a tile myself. I have paid for this job to be done after all, and shouldn't be correcting it myself. I initially received an excuse saying the door I bought had bad reviews and that there were no parts left to fit. I sent a picture of the fitting instructions, showing that the final stages hadn't been completed, and a picture of the 'spare parts' he had left behind. I received another excuse that he had met somebody that day who coincidentally had bought the same shower door and recommended it was removed. I explained the panel was fine and needed to be fitted properly, per the instructions. I patiently waited a month and was promised on multiple occasions that he would return to do this, which did not happen. Each time a different excuse. I have now had to pay somebody else £50 to finish the job.
