I started Bricklaying in 1996 for Barratt Homes where I attended college for 3 years. In that time I won the apprentice of the year 3 times and attended 2 bricklaying competitions finishing 4th and 2nd. In 1997 I won the apprentice of the year for Barratt Homes (Manchester Division). While working for Barratt homes I was also taking private work on i.e. garden walls, garages and extensions, so in 2006 decided I needed a new challenge. I started taking on private work full time.
