Shariff is not in fact a carpenter. He has next to no experience (other than jobs for family). He needs constant supervision and even then he doesn’t listen to a word you say. It is genuinely shocking the state he has left my garden in. I hired him to replace a very basic roof for a lean to in my garden. It consists of making a square frame out of 4 pieces of wood with two bars of wood in the middle. Attaching it to the wall and a pre made fence panel. He was provided with all the materials. I had bought excess for other projects. He makes so many mistakes. He didn’t measure accurately, so he cut the wood too short, therefore there is a 10cm gap at the back of the roof letting water in. He cobbled together wood along the back he’d also cut too short. He attached a piece of rotten timber to the wall that had been torn down from the old roof which has two long rusty screws sticking out of it at eye level (did not think to remove these) even though he has plenty of timber.

I would thoroughly recommend this company. From the outset the communication was excellent, they arrived exactly when they said they would and worked exceptionally hard, completing the complex project on schedule. The quality of the guttering work and the painting and repair of woodwork and plaster ornamentation was excellent. Our building really needed a facelift and I’m very happy with the outcome. Polite, friendly and conscientious I would certainly hire them again.

Terry was excellent from start to finish when fixing our downpipe. He got in touch quickly about the job and provided a clear and honest explanation of the problem. We’re delighted with the work Jamie and Charlie have carried out for us. Although only a single story extension, it was complicated work with several steels and unusual roof angles to negotiate. Their workmanship and pride in taking care of the details shone throughout. We decided to stay living in the property whilst the work was carried out and they made sure we had a fully functioning temporary kitchen, with insulated temporary wall shielding us from the elements and keeping us secure. They were fantastic with the kids and we thoroughly enjoyed having them around. I’ve never known trades to be so tidy, making sure our space was totally liveable throughout the project and going above and beyond to try and keep minimal impact to us. We decided to extend the project and asked them to tidy up our garden with a fantastic new double patio, hand made wooden pergola and raised beds, and a new garden fence - all completed to their usual high standard and great advice on what would look good. We’re delighted with how it’s all turned out. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others and we’ll certainly be using them for any future building projects. Thanks guys!
