Completely norespond company. I contacted this company by myself because he didn't even say hello. He was supposed to come back to me on Saturday - didn't happen. he said he wanted to change the appointment for monday, also the day ended without an appointment and even any message from him. I wasted my time and money. complete zero - just time waster!

This review isn't solely based on full re-roof as I offered more jobs to refurbish inside the property. This job was up to over £10k and jobs completed by KD construction was over £6k Pro's - Kev & Leon are friendly - Did some favours like planning & fitting an extra doors. - Competitive quote - Good roofing work Con's - Poor communication: Texted to inform not coming the morning they agreed to turn up several times. - Poor Management: Fairly difficult to manage jobs by stages as they wanted to stick to their work pattern. Not keen with changes, which is inevitable in every refurb. - Finishing not high standard- plastered wall some rough edges, stud wall built wasn't straight. - Cleanliness- didn't clean up each day after work. - Payment- asked for wages, which I regret paying as I should have paid for materials and paid the wage on job completion as agreed. This reduced their motivation for the job. Also didn't make sure I made the final payment after skip left, as some rubbish weren't taken and I had to pay for it. Left me out of pocket. In a null shell and to reiterate, Roofing jobs and small timescales work will be best fit as they completed the work to acceptable standard. anyone who isn't bothered about the Con's they will be great for you. For me even if am getting a fair price I won't compromise on standard.

Nick previously built me a stone porch, the price was great and he did a great job of it, so much so I hired him again and he did the following: Nick excavated and dug out a side of a hill and built a retaining wall and stone steps. He built a 25m dry stone wall and excavated over 60 ton of old driveway and replaced it with a 100 square meter regular block drive way. The quality of work was fantastic and expertly done. The time lines were met even with one or two unexpected surprises that Nick dealt with in his stride. Nick was on time daily and did exactly what he said he would and more. He is a diligent, hard worker with a good eye for detail. Would hire him again without question and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Iv been working in the carpet fitting/ flooring trade for the best part of 20 years. Mainly I keep work to domestic new builds but also do commercial preferably carpet tile and flat fit vynle. I like to keep work as local as possible (15 mls) but could travel if job is worth it.
