I'm an internal solid and fibrous plasterer, who is a self employed, sub contractor. I'm a time served apprentice since 2000, where I completed my training at Aagaard Hanley Ltd, where I worked for 7 years, and qualified with NVQ level3 in fibrous/solid plastering from Leeds College of Building. I continued to work for Plasterworkshop Ltd from 2007-2011 and again from 2015-18. I've worked on various projects, both commercial and domestic, nationwide from Edinburgh to North London.

My name is Gavin and I have been a carpenter since 2005 after leaving the British Army. My background is in bench Joinery and have worked for 2 bespoke cabinet makers. This mainly involved manufacturing bespoke items such as kitchens, media walls, conference rooms furniture and much more. Although I am traditionally a bench joiner I have worked more on site than in workshops mainly doing 2nd fix work such as fitting kitchens, gates, doors etc. I have my own small workshop so I try and keep my hand in both parts of the business, building and fitting.
