Tiling- 6 Feb 2019
Francesco tiled the bathroom in our new loft conversion in Brighton. We were in London prior to moving into the house in Brighton when the work was undertaken, and therefore it was very important to find someone who we could communicate with easily, whilst not being on site. Francesco was very helpful and easy to communicate with from the offset. We used handmade Mexican tiles, which are harder, and more time-consuming to work with than conventional tiles. We were particularly grateful for Francesco's positive can-do attitude regarding the tiles. Francesco sent us regular updates and lots of photos throughout the job, which he finished to a very high standard, and in a timely fashion. Due to the difficult nature of the tiles we had chosen, Francesco had to put in more hours than he'd anticipated, however, he did not charge us more than his original quote, and remained positive throughout. Francesco has excellent attention to detail and we're very happy with his work. We would certainly recommend Francesco!

Roofing (Pitched)- 31 Aug 2020
I can highly recommend Mick for both the flat roof and general roof repairs he recently carried out and also for the two velux windows he installed in my study. The invoices were exactly what he quoted with no unexpected extras. All of the work was completed as scheduled with no unexpected delays. The work was completed to a very high standard. Mick and the person working with him were careful to clean up afterwards and did an excellent job doing so. Apart from excellent work, Mick is very kind and extremely patient. It took two years from the time Mick first quoted for the roof repairs to finally being able to carry them out. The delay was due to an awkward freeholder who refused to pay for his share of the repairs. Mick helped me out several times during this period and hung in there even though there were a few occasions I had to cancel him at the last moment due to the intervention of the other freeholder. When one of the blinds on the new velux window wasn't quite right, he immediately returned after work to sort it out. He wasn't the least bit annoyed when it was working alright and it was a wasted journey. I definitely recommend Mick!
