What a great lad, came over in the evening to do a site visit and came back promptly with a very competitive quote. I had to delay start briefly as I had no labour to help me remove old roof. Liam stepped into the breach and helped me with this. The following week he was there on time and ready to go not phased by slight delay because of weather & unseen snags with levels, sorted by my bricklayer another My Builder member. Liam will work well and safely on his own with a full kit of his own professional tools and his output is tremendous. On the first morning of deck job I had to go out for a while,I returned and was amazed at what he had achieved on his own, we are talking 5mtr 9" x 2" beams lifted up onto a structure and fixed. At all times he worked in a seamless professional manner, with a positive plan for the job, discussing any unforseen snags with an appropriate solution before overcoming them. Liam was always polite and courteous carrying out a marvellous job in record time for me. I have other jobs that I would not hesitate to employ Liam on as soon as he is free I can be fussy with my jobs, my background was Maintenance Manager at a London Uni and I have exacting standards. Liam met all my criteria. Don't be put off by his youthful looks, this is one good tradesman with old school skills and ethos. My long term friend who did the final roof cover, a specialist Flat Roof Contractor for 40 years+ commented on what a good roof he had built.

Carl and his son CJ are a pleasure to work with along with their very high standard of work, attitude, professionalism etc..... I am in the building game and know what to expect, as soon as I met CarI I knew immediately that he was the man for the job and how right was I 100% in fact. We are going to hire CARL and his son CJ to carry out the rest of the plastering work as we are doing the whole house. I was expecting the odd bit of filler to be applied before painting BUT not one single blob of filler required which shoes their very high standard of work/ethics. I am very hard to please as I'm a perfectionist and expect exactly what was delivered. I can't thank them enough, smashing lads, I'm sure they will go on to be very successful with their attitude, very high standard of work/ethics. I wish I could upload the photos of their work as one of the rooms is very is very big with lots of corners/angles with awkward walls. We hired Gareth to remove the wallpaper and fill in the wholes, paint the walls, paint the skirting and painted the ceiling. Whilst that room was drying Gareth also re painted one of the downstairs rooms and gave that room a makeover too. From the start Gareth was knowledgeable and respectful providing us with great advice/tips. He got the job done in the exact amount of time that he estimated and kept the rooms tidy and cleaned up after himself. He was very friendly, easy to get on with and was able to go about our lives whilst he worked. The rooms look great and we are very pleased with the work that has been done and our vision is so much clearer now and our family home is coming together. Thank you from us both!

John was a pleasure to work with. He was conscientious, thorough and an excellent tiler. He laid several different types of tiles in a range of places and did a brilliant job in all cases. We altered the brief a couple of times and he was flexible in his working hours and quoting which we really appreciated. We asked him to undertake another job but he was honest enough to say he didn’t have the time to take it on which we also appreciated. Working on a house build alongside other trades John was cheerful helpful and accommodating. I would thoroughly recommend him.

I hired Martin to install a new kitchen, utility room, and a bedroom window seat during my bungalow refurbishment. When I saw the results of his work I asked him to also fit the bathroom furniture, fully tile the bathroom, and do the tiling in the kitchen and utility room. It was immaculate. So it turned out Martin was pivotal to the whole operation. Martin is highly skilled and a very talented man. He’s also really knowledgeable and steered me towards a much better company than the one I was originally using. He goes over and above in every way and his work has been admired by everyone. All at a reasonable price. Martin is nice to be around, reliable and just gets the job done with a minimum of fuss. He also found some products for me which I had been unable to source and this saved a lot of money. I can’t wait to have Martin back for any other work I can find him in the future. 🙂 I recommend Martin 100%
