I hate giving bad reviews. However we had a very poor experience. We paid a deposit upfront for plastering work, with the clear expectation of smooth walls, no cracks, and a properly finished surface ready for painting. At the initial visit, he then advised that this could not be achieved as planned and said it was instead a decorating job. The work was originally expected to take only a few days. However, over several months there were repeated cancellations, delays, and last-minute rescheduling. On multiple occasions we were given confirmed dates and times, only for the job to be postponed again — often on the same day, with different reasons provided each time. Despite repeated assurances, the work remains incomplete, causing significant disruption to our plans. Communication became unreliable, and we had to repeatedly chase for updates. In the end, we were left with unfinished work after paying over £500. Strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

Karl did a great job plastering and levelling out a very uneven and long wall for me. I’m amazed at how true and good it looks. He was well mannered and nice to deal with and was tidy and turned up when he said he would. Would definitely recommend.

During the cutting phase of our ceilings, the insulation company had to stop the job and asked us to get the electric cables checked by a professional before they seal the foam. It was 6pm by the time I posted at MyBuilder and Rob was very responsive to help us understand whether there is a problem. He came and checked the cables the other day right on time, even talked with the insulation team himself to solve the technical issues. He was very proactive and full of advice and he tested all our electrical cabling system also the other day. We can not thank him and recommend him more. Absolutely excellent service at a very fair price. This young man did everything he said he was going to do at the exact time he said he would do it. The service was fast and highly professional. It is so hard to get good reliable plumbers (or good reliable artisans at all) in the south east these days, especially after Brexit. This young man has recently started his own business and if he continues to put good customer service at the heart of his business model, he will indeed go a long way.
