Calum was given a challenging brief to create a bespoke walk in wardrobe with Chinese style sliding doors, shelving and interior lighting. His workmanship was faultless and to a high quality. His attitude was first class, always attending at the times agreed and explaining progress in words I could understand. Based on my above satisfaction I also employed him to manage a bathroom conversion which involved him coordinating other trades as well, again fully satisfied with the outcome. Job is not yet completed due to a complexity of matching the existing kitchen doors. However the work done to date is excellent and showed the difference between an poorly fitted kitchen and one done correctly. The previous one cut the work tops in a way that there were bad joins and too many.. Gordon has fitted the same with only 1 join and it is nearly invisible! The cabinet doors now line up, the new sink and old cooker are now sealed to the worktop, it was a difficult re-fit but not a single tile was damaged - awesome! Previous kitchen fitter (unknown) was not as good for sure. More work for Gordon as i expand my portfolio and I am glad I started ti use MyBuilder vs. word of mouth where I was let down and cannot give feedback. In fact Gordon has 2 more of the jobs I posted under consideration (doors) and another kitchen. Gordon MyBuilder might have closed that job as I shortlisted 2 but it is still open.

Regarding my sun room built by Graham Baird of Direct Construction. I am very pleased with the work that was carried out and am delighted with the finished product. Graham and his team were very professional and easy to work with. The standard of work is very good and very much to my liking. I also consider the price to be very reasonable for the work carried out and I will certainly consider Graham and his crew for any future work I may require.

Available next day, needed slabs laid quickly for easier wheelchair access. Very expensive for half day work. Had to spend next day filling in grouting gaps and sweeping up. So only partial satisfaction

Dennis came out at the time agreed to provide a quote . He assessed the job and we agreed a price and start time. He and his colleague Alan then began the job on exactly the day and time agreed which was 7am each day. They both worked methodically and carefully until the job was completed. They were both polite, professional and in my view trustworthy. They moved furniture around carefully as required, to do what they needed to do and also put it back afterwards.
