I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

Dayu did a great job installing my curtain poles as well as mounting my TV onto the TV bracket. He is a great problem solver and takes pride in doing a job well not just completing it. Highly recommend, I would use him again

In the recent heavy rains I had a bad leak in my bathroom ceiling. Reece came round within half an hour of me calling. He was polite and very knowledgeable about his trade. He went up on the roof in the rain and came down with photos. He took the time to fully explain to me what needed doing. The quote was very reasonable and fair compared to ones I have had in the past for similar work. They came the next day and fixed it for me. I was shown very clear after pics and I could see that a good job had been done. Reece was very pleasant to have around and had a very positive attitude. He even fixed some lose paving slabs for me as a favour. I would highly recommend. Excellent experience

We did a lot of research ahead of our loft build, and spoke to customers of the companies we looked at. We were impressed with Toma and her team from the outset, especially in terms of clarity and communication. We sat down with the project team at the start and walked through the week-by-week plan for our build, then a whatsapp group and weekly meets meant we knew exactly what was happening throughout. Our endless questions were responded to swiftly. Additional optional trade-ups (eg top-hung windows, larger bathroom window etc) were discussed and explained with context, sound advice (and clear pricing where nec) but always still optional. Toma's communication with the teams also seemed strong and continuous, with materials always arriving in time and ahead of when needed, no down-days etc - and importantly, the teams all seemed happy and were just lovely people to have around. I realise with hindsight too that the team's care and workmanship really put them a cut above many others in my area and the project remained on schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ICS for the whole package and in fact we've also chosen to use them again for a kitchen extension.

I don't often leave reviews. However on this occasion I have to give praise where praise is due. I called The Tree Mann at 12:15 by 17:15 he was at my home and ready to work. He gave his assurance that he would come and remove the tree as I was concerned about it falling into my neighbours garden. His `word was definitely his bond`. Wellesley was easy to work with from start to finish. Very professional with lots of experience and knowledge. The results speak for themselves. Worked quickly and efficiently removing a fallen tree which split into two parts. The remainder of the tree was taken down quickly and neatly. Would 100% recommend him. He tidied up and took away all the debris from the tree, even though we did not discuss clearance. There are not words enough to thank him and his colleague. I am so pleased with the results that I have booked him for another job. Great work ethic matched with an amazing 'can do attitude'.
