Sara from SC Decorating & Cleaning services came to help me redecorate my lounge and hallway, it was big job as I needed wallpaper removing, ceilings and walls prepped and painted as well as the wood work. Sara really listened to what I wanted, I really couldn’t be happier with the end result. From start to finish Sara was nothing but professional, knowledgeable and efficient. The work that was done has been finished to the highest standard possible, everything is crisp, clean and tidy and it has completely transformed my house. Dave carried out landscaping work for us in mid September that involved putting up a large side gate and front fence and renewing our drive. He quoted a reasonable price and provided sound advice. We chose him because he was friendly, approachable and knew what he was talking about. Glad we did as he did a brilliant job. He also told us that he was a decorator so we asked him to paint our front door (very old door with many layers of paint that he stripped and repainted) and windowsills. He totally uplifted and transformed the look of our house and it looks amazing now. He arrived on the time and date set to do the work, got straight to work and was good with communication, clean and polite but most of all he was trustworthy and reliable. we work full time and we were happy to leave him in the house. I would recommend Dave to anyone. Thank you so much Dave

We could not fault Darren and his teams work ethic. However the issue remains of not listening to the client and the saying of ‘the customer is always right’ does not apply here. We were quoted this:’ Morning Sam here’s the quote for the wall, - 9inch - 1m high with 4 x 1.525m high piers, LBC Claydon red brick , Blue brick to cap wall and piers.’ However we have not been provided a metre height wall from the point we requested it. It is 70cm at the end we requested the metre height, not to mention the incorrect pier height. Darren addressed this in a text ‘ the 1.52 piers in the 3rd quote where a mistake on my part as it should of read 1.25.’ He made a ‘mistake’ on the pier height and this is my fault as the customer? There was also an issue taking £100 more in labour costs than was quote, when I went to pay, I asked to confirm the amount and he was happy to take more than was quoted. I note Darren rectified this, only after an email was sent highlighting the issue. This was Overall, we are left with a wall - which was the ultimate end game, however it does not meet the discussions, nor the agreements in place. I’m sure the builder will of course say otherwise. The point stands of a quote in black and white, not being honoured.

We had our garden completely redesigned from scratch. We had a lot of work done which includes a new deck area, paving, gravel paths, a bed made from sleepers and a Smart Grass area. It was good working with Danny as he had some good ideas and really worked with us to create a garden where we designed the initial concept. The work took longer than initially quoted but was only by a couple of days, it also came in bang on budget. The finished garden looks great, very pleased with the result. The decking wasn't simple as it involved a curved effect but Danny did a great job in getting it perfect. The details are fantastic and really happy with what we have ended up with. Danny is a great guy to work with, always positive in his work and with a friendly attitude gives you confidence that he'll get the job done. He was also very kind to do a maintenance job on our front garden for free, while doing odd DIY jobs for us where it was needed. A genuine friendly local gardener that has passion for what he does and ensures the customer is his no.1 priority.
