I normally don’t like writing bad reviews as I know how it may affect a trade persons source of income. But in this instance it is necessary! The kitchen was done to good standard after a long hassle of going back and forward with him about the kitchen arrangements. It was designed and delivered by B & Q. And him being a builder he should have made his way around the problems which I think he could’ve approached in a better manner. The skirting was done to an awful and inexperienced level. He had screwed them in with many holes being left on the skirtings. Which destroyed the appearance of them. When asked if we would fill the holes and use decorators chalk/silicone for the gap at top of the skirting and the wall he replied with ‘that ain’t my job’ which I think is a awful attitude to work. Furthermore, we had paid him accordingly to the work he completed per day so it was fair and by the end of the week he would have been paid in full. But he insisted on being paid earlier than schedule and then threatened me on several occasions he will rip out or break the kitchen with a hammer. So I was forced to pay. He didn’t turn up a few days with the excuse he was too busy to come and complete the kitchen. But I was more concerned about him taking majority of the money and the work being heavily pending. I felt intimidated by him and his attitude to work needs fixing. So if you as a consumer wish to take him on as a builder be prepared!

Vasile did a fantastic job rectifying our EICR issues at our tenanted property and replacing the consumer unit. He was extremely efficient, friendly and kept great communication throughout the day. He sent over photos of the completed work along with the certificate of completion right away. Highly recommended, and I wouldn't hesitate to use BS Electrics again.

Nikolaj and his team completed my job over the weekend and I am very happy with their work. Everything was done so accurately and precisely, and even though the space under the stairs wasn't 100% straight angles, Nikolaj made sure every detail was accounted for. They also kept the area very clean during the days they were working. Again, I am very happy with the completed project and would recommend them to anyone looking for carpentry work.

Don & Ann Marie were an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. They went the extra mile at every turn with exceptionally high standards across all their work. They made thoughtful, creative suggestions to help improve our ideas and always listened with patience to our needs, before making sure we got exactly what we asked for. Their contacts of other supporting trades people to bring in on the job were also second-to-none, with efficient, trustworthy and highly professional jobs done all round. Such a big project had the potential to be stressful, but they genuinely made it an easy process. MD Building originally came in to rebuild our garden. We were very impressed by their professionalism and building skills and asked them to do much more for us (e.g. build new guest toilet, re-fit bathroom, paint bedrooms and hallway, rebuild parts of our kitchen). They were here for 9 months in the end and were very hard working (come rain or shine) and knowledgeable and we were very grateful that they included some extras for free. We are really happy with the majority of their work and they did offer to re-do the items we were not happy with (e.g. the laying of the coping stones in the garden wall). They also returned to fit a draining gutter when we found out that the new patio did not include draining. We struggled with getting timely responses at times and there we also some no shows, but, they always worked hard to make up for it each time and overall, were much more professional than the builders we have used in the past.

Claudiu and his team did an excellent job renovating our 2 bed flat in Bushey. He did a great job on the laminate flooring in particular. Installed coving, skirting, painted walls/doors/radiators, installed new light fixtures, and assembled furniture. Will definitely work with him again. In fact, I hired him back to do our bathroom next week!
