After being let down on more than one occasion, Northern boiler maintenance did not. They communicated clear times with the tenant and arrived in that time slot. The tenant was a single female occupant and she gave excellent feedback. I highly recommend this company.

We are extremely pleased with the job of rendering the flat roof extension on the house, the team worked very quickly and did a really good tidy job. We also were let down by a plasterer for a bathroom renovation at the time so Cafer and his team completed that job for us too. Could not recommend them more highly, very good.

Dave Market (DMP Building Solutions) came originally to view a lounge extension I was intending on building but we agreed on a kitchen extension due to front elevation restrictions imposed by the council. He talked us through the process and gave us a very positive vibe. He put us in contact with a surveyor and we went through a lengthy planning process which stalled our build for approx 9 months. No fault of Dave. The build started in July and completed in October. Council Building Inspectors threw a few curve balls in and Dave also had a few personnel changes to his team during the build, however his dedication and professionalism never wavered from the goal. We now have a beautiful extension with a sloping roof incorporating a velux window. A nicely tiled floor and panelled ceiling along with new additional units, tiling, plumbing, woodwork, plastering all done to a very high standard. Where Dave finds issues or wants professional assistance he has a wide range of experts at hand including, roofers, electricians, gas specialist, window/door fitter, kitchen fitters. He doesn't make do with tasks he uses these professionals to ensure things are done right. The outside has been finished in matching brick and slate with white pvc pipework and guttering. All very easy on the eye. I'd recommend DMP solutions to anybody wishing to have an extension built and I'm sure other work would also be completed to just as high a standard.

Alex came to fit window moulds, door moulds and skirting boards in knotty pine wood in our newly plastered living room. It all looked very nice initially. However, on closer look, some cheap and unsuitable ironmongerey was used on doors. The popping mechanism on doors isnt fixed properly and are not shutting doors as it should. Also, there are a few areas where the filling around door moulds has been forgotten about. And most of all, We werent very convinced of the knowledge Alex makes out he has regarding wood/timber. Due to his van broken, he had timber delivered, without checking it personally prior to the job. So when he came to do the job, he made out that the black marks on the skirtings were just dust and should come out with some sanding. However, they didnt and it seems more like they are black mould marks that might have left a deeper impression on the wood. And since we aren't planning on painting the wood. The marks are pretty hidious. We would have expected Alex to see to the problem before he fixed skirting to the plaster and offered a solution. He offered a solution after we pointed out that the marks are going after sanding, but he never came back to fix it and we have tried contacting him on number of ocassions and its been a month and a half now. So not happy with lack of knowledge, providing unsuitable ironmongerey and customer service side of things. Otherwise his work was not too bad.
