We had a leak in our extension roof and I got Kieran to replace what I thought was a simple cracked tile that was causing the issues. Wholst he was happy to do that, he identified a few other issues which were more likely the cause and managed to fix them all on site, the same day. Despite the recent deluges, all seems to be holding out! Grat work

So delighted to have found Parrot Painting on here. Our previous decorator was unavailable and after posting this job, Karl responded promptly and was able to book in a visit at short notice. Communication was excellent and the quote was competitive. Karl co-ordinated all the scaffolding requirements for the job and kept in touch with arrival times, rain delays etc. Fabulous team and a real pleasure to have on site. Professional, tidy and friendly - very happy with the end result and we look forward to having Karl and his team back for future work!

Aaron responded promptly to my job post and arranged to visit. He arrived exactly when he said he would and asked thorough questions about the work, and later emailed an estimate. In conversation, Aaron was clear that, while he was an experienced plasterer, and loved working with lime, he had never actually used the product I was specifying (Adaptavate Breathaplasta). This is a lime-based product using fine particles of bio-aggregate, making the plaster particularly breathable and able to deal with humidity. Aaron calculated that the work would take 6 days. In the event, it turned out he had to deal with a particularly complex aspect in squaring up, damp-proofing and insulating a tricky window wall, along side the actual plastering, and in addition to producing a very accurately-sized aperture for the window reveal, as requested in the brief. This was done with millimetre precision, but meant of course the work took longer (a labour time increase of 50%), but Aaron negotiated this clearly, and his communications were very good throughout. Plastering over different surfaces (hempcrete, cement rendered wall), Aaron produced a superb finish, unifying the appearance of the plastered walls. Overall, an excellent job.

We hired SJR Construction to patio a large area of our garden and remove some raised beds and greenhouse base. Steven was a very polite and helpful guy to work with and gace us an affordable quote. His workers battled through very wet conditions to complete the work in reasonable time and we are pleased with the result. We did have a minor misunderstanding involving some finishing touches and rubbish removal but this was sorted out promtly by Steven on the same day. On the whole very nice people who I would recommend to others.

An excellent job, done by Ajet, he managed the task in a timely fashion and I am happy to recommend his services based on his attention to detail. He also did a few extra side touches upon my request and is a very good listener. He completed the work honestly without any supervision and was able to re-inspect his own work time and again to ensure quality of delivery. He demonstrated an excellent knowledge about the job and was able to advice us on the challenges he faced due to the marks on the ceiling. Overall, an excellent quality work. 👍🏻 Well Done, Ajet. I am going have him back for the work again.

RAM Roofing did an amazing job from start to finish converting our flat roof extension to a pitched roof with twin Velux windows. Even though they were plagued with the wettest week of the summer, Ryan and his dedicated team were able to cut the roof install the windows, insulation, roof tiles, gable framing extending and forming a soffit all without effecting us internally. Then once the opening in the ceiling cut they did a plastering job to an externally high standard. Although a lot of ‘roofers’ say they can do it all, RAM really can deliver and in reality are a full works Building Contractor. Very impressed. High standard of work. Competitive price. A pleasure to work with.

Sam was able to complete the job at late notice and the price was very reasonable considering it was a bit of a pokey job. Came round in the evening to fit around me being at home and turned up on time. The work carried out was fine so no complaints there and would be happy for Sam to carry out any similar work that needs doing in future.
