Paul was very fast to respond to the job, The job was a fair distance away from his home address and I explained that I made a mistake selecting him to quote for the job thinking I had chosen a trades-person closer to the job site. That said Paul was okay with the traveling distance and we negotiated a price that suited us both. After a few phone calls to work out the kinks I ordered up and paid for the loft insulation after chatting with Paul about the required quantity and had it delivered to the worksite the day before installation. Paul arrived on the job site at 8am as arranged, Paul did the work as specified leaving the worksite in a clean and tidy state. Paul Answered all calls or responded to voice mail messages left in a very timely manner (less than 12 hours), Turned up when he said he would, Did the job I asked him to do, Charged the agreed price. All said and done it's been a good trades person / client transaction, I have added Paul to my trades contact list.

AVOID. Destroyed my ikea unit. Had to buy replacement shells to start over. I do wish I could attach pictures. The whole top unit is round the wrong way. The holes to put the shelves up are at the back against the wall. The units are uneven and the door hinges are not flush. The handles on 3 doors are on the wrong side. Part of the unit is loose not attached at all. He told me the brackets were missing and that he had to use his own parts. The 12 individual brackets were amongst the empty packing. Was quoted £40 he charged me £60. Extra work and he used his own parts. He never bothered opening the shelves. I assume as he realised that he had hung the units incorrectly and one of wasn't going to work. I asked him to come and attempt to turn the units round. He instead offered to put the shelves into the unit the way they are! When I asked him if he could please come out to address the issues he no longer replied to my messages. He was on time and polite but was not able to assemble the ikea flat pack that I asked him to. AVOID.

Gary and his team completed installing my new kitchen and various other jobs and carried out excellent work. He always kept in touch and was there at the job when requested and will be definitely be using him shortly for other jobs, he went out of his way to do other jobs as they arose and carried them out efficiently. Marek did a fantastic job replastering and repainting a bedroom in our tenement flat. The job was done professionally, efficiently and very cleanly - no rubble or mess was left behind. Extremely disappointed. Ronnie is one very rude individual. He came out and quoted me for shelving. A very basic explanation for what he would be doing. I received a quote 3 days later which was extremely high. I decided to go ahead as I felt assured he would be the right person for the job. I emailed him asking when he would be available - no reply. I emailed again - no reply. I contacted him on here to which he replied he hadn’t seen my email. He still didn’t answer my question on his availability. I emailed him again the following day to which I received a 1 word answer saying ‘Ikea’ feeling slightly unsettled. I emailed him again today and he has returned with a disgraceful insulting reply. Telling me he had already replied to 7 of my emails since yesterday. I had only sent 2 and he still didn’t answer when he would be a available Shocking attitude. Prices much higher than a self employed joiner due to his limited company! Please choose someone that will be happy to take your job

Pleasant enough guy but was told on two occasions would get back to me with a start date & never heard anything. Had already ordered made to measure mirror doors with sizes he provided and unfortunately were far too big resulting in us having to pay another couple of hundred pound to have doors cut to correct size!
