Lloyd from LGM Builders called to give me a quote to plaster my bedroom walls and ceiling. He was very helpful and friendly. He suggested putting insulation boards on the outside wall to keep the heat in. I also needed one new board on the ceiling. I was told the whole job would be 1 day prep and 2 days work. Lloyd arrived alone and completed all the work in 1 day and asked to be paid. I never expected to have any problems and paid him by bank transfer that evening. I then discovered that the new boards covered my window sill and also didn't allow enough room for the new radiator to be fitted without moving the pipes. Lloyd purchased a new window sill on my behalf and said he would return to fit later in the week. As the plaster dried I noticed lots of indentations and it was quite rough in places. When Lloyd arrived I mentioned the faults in the plaster so that it could be fixed. Lloyd's personality completely changed, his tone was aggressive, which made me feel very vulnerable and uncomfortable in my own home. He said he had done a good job and if I was a painter I would know that the indentations would need filling prior to painting. He then said he wasn't going to waste his time putting the new sill on when he could be working for someone else.

The work is ongoing I have some holiday cottages and he has done a lot of work plumbing plastering and restoring. He started off by doing a small plastering job and the work has snowballed from there. He is a good tidy worker I am pleased with his work and I can highly recommend him.

Requested a full house electrics check following the installation of our new electric cooker by them. Wayne and his colleague arrived on the agreed day to carry this out and supply and install an external plug at the back and install a light in the cupboard under the stairs. This resulted in 4 items of concern being identified, although not classified as dangerous, that needed to be dealt with to give us a complete satisfactory certificate which we requested to them being rectified. This work was completed 2 weeks later. All work was costed prior to being agreed and carried out and reasonably priced. Wayne and his colleague were very professional and caused relatively little disruption. Will definitely use this company for any future electrical work and can highly recommend them.

Fantastic. We used Simon from Kearsley Brickwork and he was brilliant. He turned up to quote when he said he would, he did the job just as he said he would - and he was a real perfectionist! and he charged a reasonable rate. The site was left very clean and tidy. He was very pleasant to have around - no loud radio or mess. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
